  Hallo, i am Xaver, a Ranger and Forester in the forest close to the famous and nice city Regensburg. I am searching for help for my big private forest house garden for private purpose.
  It's inside a nature protected district (Mattinger Hänge) with a lot of nature, hiking ways, caves. You will have a lot of options to relax and get in touch with nature. The village and the station (Gundelshausen) is just 1000 meters away, there are also 2 very good, traditional, bavarian Restaurants. Here in the village is also the big Donau River, with nice options for swimming. In my house an at my ground i have a lot of good sleeping options, also a few outdoor beds outside, to get more in touch with the forest. I am working also as nature guide, i can show you all of the nice spots and places here, explain you the medical plants, the trees and the ecological system and we have also a lot of sights and old castles here. The city Regensburg is very close, it is a very nice city for people who like the unesco protected old town center, the famous old bridge and also there is a lot of good pubs, traditional restaurants and whatever you want. It's one of the most nice cities in germany for students, with a lot of young people who like to making friends, doing activties, going climbing or visiting one of the pubs. I speak English, Espanol and German and looking forward to have an nice, friendly and respectfull exchange with new people and of course i need help with the work in my little private nature parc here around the forest house. I am a very guestfriendly host and my house is like a cabin in the bavarian mountains. My family comes from there and i have also this old, bavarian mentality of the mountains, where the life is tough but the heart warm and big. A lot Greetings Xaver

  The famous old city Regensburg (12km away) have one of the most nice old town centers of the world. There is a famous very big church, the stone bridge and a lot of history inside the city and around. Also we have here a lot of history from celtic culture and roman empire. We have a lot of museum's here about this, also historical city tours, traditional food, rebuilded celtic house's and parks around the city. We also have a lot of very old an famous castles here in very good conditions, you can go inside an visit it. Very close here also to the big Naturpark Altmühltal with a lot of parks, museums, Dinosaurier park and archolocial activities and actions. It's also posible to go searching for fossils and minerals, because here in the Naturpark Altmühltal they found a lot of million jears old fossils and dinosaurus. Also we have a lot of nice caves, rocks for climbing, canoeing and boat tours around, also two ferrys where you can cross the big river, a lot of places at the top of big rocks where you have a great view, hundreds of long hiking ways and so much options and activities more about nature and history. I know hundreds of interesting places and sights here around to show it to you, because the region is full of this. I growed up here and worked here since 20 jears as nature guide. Also i am very interested in this cultural and arcological stuff. And the city Regensburg is a very young, world open city with a lot of interesting cultural options and sights in every street. Also everybody speaks english here. I am looking forward to show you more about the region and all the nice points of interest. We will find for everybody a lot of interesting things and options here.

  I do have a few good and comfortable guest beds in an own room for my guests in my forest house and also a few very nice and cozy outdoor beds here at the ground. You will have free WIFI in the house. Also you will have good coffe here (fresh espresso).

  What else ...

  Station Gundelshausen (a. d. Donau) 1000 meters distance from the forest house. This is the next connection. Here you can go in 12 minutes by train to Regensburg. Also you can go by the train the other direction to Ingolstadt. In both of this big cities you have a lot of train connections and bus connections for all directions in europe. Next airport's are München (MUC) or Nürnberg (both aprox 1,5 h Distance by train.)
  
  I have a very guestfriendly, world open mentality and often i have visitors. I will have a lot of time the next 3 months and in this time i am every day at home more or less. I take this time to finish my work here on my ground and for the forest house, before the winter is coming. For me respect is important and if i say No this means no. Also if i give my visitors some advice about the stay in the forest, this is very important to follow. For example to be carefull with fire and things like this. Because we are here in a nature protected district in the forest, not everybody knows about how to act in the nature. It's just meaned in a good way, for me, for you, the nature and the neighboors.
  
  
  (Kloster Weltenburg, the oldest monestry brewery of the world. Take the boat tour from Kelheim to Kloster Weltenburg. You have a very good bavarian restaurant there, a church to visit and a great view to the natural river)
  
  (Amazing castle "Prunn" at a very nice natural valley (Naturpark Altmühltal)
  
  (Tropfsteinhöhle Schulerloch. Amazing cave at the "Naturpark Altmühltal") You can only visit it if you buy a (cheap) ticket and only with the cave guide. The entrance ticket you can buy by card or by cash at the cave.)
  
  
  (Brauerei Kuchlbauer, Abensberg. If you are interested in art, architecture, a good bavarian Restaurant and a guided tour into one of the best brewerys in world, you have all at this place with the brewery Kuchlbauer. There is also a huge colorful tower of one of the most famous german artists and constructores, Friedensreich Hundertwasser. This place (Abensberg) you can reach by train in aprox. 20 minutes from my village/train station Gundelshausen.)
  
  
  (De Bassus Castle, Sandersdorf (Naturpark Altmühltal) If you are interested in world history, this castle is the birthplace of the world famous secret club "Illuminati" (Freimaurer, (Adam Weißhaupt) (Ingolstadt/Sandersdorf)
  In the castle is also a very good brewery "Sandersdorfer" with best organic beer production and my carpenter with his company and his last name "König". No joke.)
  
  
  
  (Amazing dino parc, dinosaur and fossil museum at a huge outdoor parc, expensive but huge and amazing. The place is also at the region "Naturpark Altmültal). They founded around 7 world famous dinosaur as fossil at exactly this region. The most famous is called "Archeopterix") But if you go for a public mine there (it's for free) maybe you will find also nice fossils or a Archeopterix, in this case you are 1 Million Dollar richer)
  
  
  
  (Fossiliensteinbruch Schamhaupten. public free place to find fossils. In the famous nature parc Altmühltal. At this small village (Schamhaupten) is also the beautiful source of the small river "Schambach".)
  
  (Befreiungshalle Kelheim - the hall of freedom, Kelheim. You must see, its a amazing place with a amazing view down to Kelheim and the river. The forest around this place it's a very old living place from the celtic people (2000 jears ago) Also today you can find at this place some old holes into this celtic forest, it's the rest of the celtic mines. In Kelheim city you have a lot of restaurants and the oldest (and maybe the best) white beer brewerys of the world named "Schneider". The train station of Kelheim is outside in Saal a. d. Donau, to reach Kelheim from my place you have to take the train to Saal and from station Saal the public bus to Kelheim Center (Whördplatz). Here you get also a boat trip to visit "Kloster Weltenburg")

  Amazing area of the "Klausenhöhlen" (caves) free for everybody, in the forest directly at the river Altmühl (Naturpark Altmühltal) Go by public bus from Saal to Essing, cross the largest wooden bridge of the world an follow google maps to the "Klausenhöhlen Essing. Village Essing have a medival castle thoose you can visit inside (with museum) and a few very good bavarian restaurants, one of the restaurants with a very beautiful romantic terace directly at the river with high quality food.)
  
  
  (Holzbrücke "Tatzlwurm" in Essing. Its one of the largest wooden bridges of the world, lets take a walk on it! You have the castle Randeck vor visit there and amazing caves if you cross the brigde (Klausenhöhlen Essing))

  (Katzentempel Regensburg) (cat temple Regensburg). Fancy vegan Restaurant with a lot of cats inside. This cats are living there all the time. You can have a coffe there or something else and watch the cats alive in this cafeteria. If you have a good energy, maybe the cat's will visit you directly at your seat.)
  
  
  (Falkenhof Schloss Rosenburg, Riedenburg)
  They are calling the small town Riedenburg "the pearl of the nature parc Altmühltal". You have a few restaurants there. This place, the Rosenburg is amazing! It's a eagle museum with all this different predator birds alive included spectecular eagle flight show with the eagle trainer (Falkner, Master of eagles/hunting birds). Riedenburg you can reach in aprox. 1 hour public bus drive from station Saal/Donau.)

  (Pub "zur geflickten Trommel") fancy medival pub with good food and traditional sweet honey wine (Met). The name of this pub in Regensburg is the origin name of the the pub in Terry Pratchets famous book "Scheibenwelt")
  
  
  (ferryboat to the pretty village "Matting". If you take a hike from my village around 1 hour (all the time along the river) you will reach this ferryboat to Matting. In Matting you have 3 bavarian restaurants, all of them included "Biergarten").
  
  
  
  (Zugspitzdorf Grainau). If you coming from far away, you must visit the most beautiful and most traditional village of bavaria. It's the village of my mother, it's nothing more beautiful in germany like this village and the nature there around. The huge mountain lake "Eibsee" changed into the most famous lake of germany and into a instagram hotspot. But it's still absolutely impressive everywhere there and you will have lot of contact with bavarian tradition everywhere in this area around Grainau . You can visit also the most highest mountain of germany, the "Zugspitze". If you want to have a flash of absolutely, impressive Beauty, you must have a hike somwhere there. You will find hundreds of nice hiking ways inside, outside and around Grainau.
