🌍 Make a lasting impact in Colombia!

Join our volunteer program at a language center that offers affordable English classes to the local community. Here you’ll work with a diverse range of students — from enthusiastic kids to motivated teenagers and curious adults — all eager to learn and grow.

    ✨ Why volunteer with us?
Volunteering here is more than teaching English. It’s about:

Building meaningful connections with locals 🤝

Immersing yourself in vibrant Colombian culture 🎶

Practicing and improving your Spanish 🇨🇴

Exploring the stunning landscapes of Casanare and beyond 🐎🌅

We prioritize a social, friendly, and supportive environment where your experience will be both memorable and enriching.

    👩‍🏫 What we do
Our institute is a unique space where students improve their English through fun, dynamic, and interactive classes. You’ll help children and teenagers learn in an informal, engaging setting — empowering them to build brighter futures through education ✨.

At the same time, you’ll enrich your own journey with cultural exchange, teamwork, and unforgettable experiences.

    👥 Our team
You won’t be alone! You’ll be supported by:

A coordinator who also teaches and guides volunteers, prepare classes for you and help in any smooth operations.

A secretary who helps with communication and logistics

Local teachers who join for Saturday classes

💡 Here, you’ll truly feel part of a team, not just a volunteer.

👉 Come share your knowledge, your energy, and your passion — and leave Colombia with lifelong memories and friendships.

Besides you will have the opportunity to learn Spanish with a local teacher in your free time.

🌍 Cultural Exchange & Learning Opportunities

As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to:

☀️ Discover Yopal – A wonderful place with a warm climate, surrounded by rivers, waterfalls, and natural spots perfect for swimming or walking in nature.

🌄 Experience the Eastern Plains – Known for having some of the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises in Colombia.

🎶 Immerse in Colombian Culture – Food, music, and traditions are an important part of daily life here. You’ll be welcomed into a warm, vibrant community.

🗺️ Travel Easily – Yopal is about 9 hours driving, an hour flying from Bogotá, the capital city, making it easy to travel to other parts of Colombia. From here, you can also reach the sea and return within a weekend trip.

This exchange is not just about teaching English — it’s about living unforgettable experiences, learning Spanish, and embracing a new culture 💙.

    👩‍🏫 Help requested from volunteers

We will prepare classes for you, but most of them will be conversational English sessions and kids follow books activities.

Students are between 5 and 19 years old.

Classes are small, with fewer than 10 students per group.

The students are very friendly and motivated because they love learning English 💬✨.

👥 Here our groups are usually very small — fewer than 6 students per class, and sometimes even just one student. This allows for more personalized attention and a closer connection with each learner. 📚✨

👩‍🏫 In addition, it is important to mention that sometimes volunteers may be asked to support local teachers in a nearby school with larger groups.
Your role will be to assist the teachers, bring your energy ⚡, and help create a fun and engaging environment for the students. It’s a great way to connect with the community and make a bigger impact! 🌍✨

Knowing some Spanish can be helpful for communication, but it is not required.

This host offers a language exchange
✨ We are looking for someone who is eager to improve their Spanish while helping us by teaching English. At the same time, we offer Spanish classes with native teachers for those who are truly motivated to improve their level. Each lesson has a small cost that directly helps support our local community and educational projects This way, your experience becomes a real language exchange — you’ll share your English skills while learning Spanish in an immersive and supportive environment. 🌍📚

Bed linen is provided, but you may bring your own sheets if you prefer.

Volunteers must bring their own toiletries.

    🍴 Shared spaces:

Kitchen (shared only with other volunteers).

    Small sitting area with sofa.

    Small refrigerator for volunteers.
