Hi everyone,
We are Alejandra and Thibault, a Colombian-French couple who with love have founded a foundation in Colombia.
The main objective of our foundation is to bring new opportunities and educational tools to kids and youths in poverty or in complicated familial situations.
Basically, we will be giving classes and scholastic reinforcement to local kids to work with them on important topics like drug addiction, violence, sexual abuse, and self-esteem. The idea is to give them new knowledge and boost their soft skills to increase their self-esteem and give them the strength and smarts to stay away from vices.
The subjects of the classes are:
-Fundamental social and spiritual values:
These values will be mentioned in all our classes and are: Love, Humility, Gratitude, Respect, Forgiveness, Patience, Generosity, Honesty, Solidarity, integrity and Perseverance.
Because we deeply believe that the appliance of those values can only lead to peace and mental health and makes better people for a better world.
-Permaculture:
We have a 4-acre farm. We want to use it to sensibilize kids and youths to nature and to decontaminate them from cities, tv, internet, material attraction, and toxic new-age "music," among other things. Also, we want to show them that not everything is about money. Permaculture is the best discipline to understand the beauty of natural ecosystems and become aware of their richness. We also want to work with families and local farmers to show them that their land can be way more productive than just growing coffee and sugar-cane and that, over time, it will be more sustainable to cultivate organically as the soil is regenerating and enriching. We will also be working on the importance of the self-sustainability of a local community.
-Artistic expression and communication:
Through art like, Drawing, painting, theater, cinema, photography, dance, and of course music.
Communication is a human social challenge, many kids have lack of self-confidence and cannot express what they need to express. This creates anxiety in them and lead them to vices. Art is the best way to express when words are just not enough.
-Working experience and training:
Such as, wood-work, international cooking, languages (at least English), tourism and travel organization, barismo(coffee making) and any other professional training that youths ask for and that we managed to organize.
We are just starting our foundation, we will move to the farm on 29/06/2023, so for the moment you will probably be helping more on the organization and preparation of the farm, like painting, building, starting the garden (permaculture) and on administrative tasks than directly on field project with kids.

Hola a todos!! Somos Aleja y Thibault (Tibo), una pareja colombo-francesa quienes hemos fundado con mucho amor una fundación en Colombia.
El principal objetivo de nuestra fundación es traer nuevas oportunidades y herramientas educativas a niños y jóvenes en situación de vulnerabilidad o de familias disfuncionales.
Básicamente, estaremos impartiendo clases, talleres, refuerzo escolar a niños locales para trabajar con ellos importantes temas como la prevención a las drogas, violencia, abuso sexual y autoestima.
Los temas de las clases serán:
—Valores sociales y espirituales fundamentales para nuestra sociedad: Estos valores serán mencionados en todas nuestras clases: Amor, humildad, gratitud, respeto, perdón, paciencia, generosidad, honestidad, solidaridad, integridad y perseverancia.
Porque creemos profundamente que el aplicar todos estos valores en nuestra vida diaria, puede ayudar en gran manera a tener más paz y salud emocional y hace mejor gente para un mundo mejor.
—Permacultura:
Tenemos una finca de 4 hectáreas. Queremos sensibilizar a niños y jóvenes a la naturaleza y descontaminarse de las ciudades, TV, internet, atracción por las cosas materiales, música de la nueva era “tóxica”, entre otros. También queremos enseñarles que no todo es acerca del dinero. Permacultura es la mejor disciplina para entender la belleza del ecosistema natural y valorar y reconocer su riqueza. También queremos trabajar con las familias y campesinos locales para enseñarles que su tierra puede ser más productiva y puede servir para mucho más que solo café y caña de azúcar, pueden ser mas auto-sostenibles cultivando orgánicamente sus alimentos y así regenerar y enriquecer la tierra.
También trabajaremos la importancia de la auto-sostenibilidad de una comunidad local.
—Expresión artistica y comunicación:
Por medio del arte como dibujo, pintura, teatro, cine, fotografía, danza y por supuesto música.
La comunicación es un reto humano social, muchos niños tienen mucho problemas con su autoestima y no saben expresar lo que necesitan o lo que no les gusta. Esto crea en ellos una ansiedad que los empuja a los vicios. El arte es la mejor manera para expresarse, cuando las palabras no son suficientes.
—Entrenamiento y experiencia de trabajo:
Como el trabajo de madera, comida internacional, lenguajes (Por lo menos Ingles), turismo, organización de viajes, barismo, y otras actividades profesionales que los jóvenes soliciten y que podamos organizar.
Estamos tan solo empezando nuestra fundación, nos mudaremos a la finca el 29/6/23 si Dios lo permite. Por el momento, nos empezarán ayudando con la organización y preparación de la finca, como pintar, construir, empezar la huerta y con tareas administrativas, poco a poco empezaremos las actividades con los niños.

Help
We ask for 5hours of work per days for 5 days a week, and we need help in many domains:
—Administrative and digital presence: It's a very big part of a non-profit organization like our foundation. We need to be always totally transparent on our financials and projects and to keep it very organize. Also, we need to be constantly posting on social-media to improve our digital presence and be sure to be known and to be able to receive donations. Besides, we need to do many grant applications to be financially supported on our projects. Also, we need translations of publications, in French and English.
—Construction:
We have plenty of ideas and dreams about the development of our farm. We would like to build some kiosks for the different classes, and also, we would like to build a few cabins for tourism to insure a bit of income out of donations.
—Gardening:
As permaculture is one of the main parts of the project, we need of course passionate people to give us a hand on this domain.
—Teaching:
Probably one of the most important, those kids and youths need brilliant people to enrich their knowledge and skills. Any valuable knowledge is welcome.
—Cleaning and organizing:
This will also, of course, be part of the help needed. It will never be put onto one person, but always be done with a little bit of help from everyone.

Necesitamos de su valiosa colaboración en lo siguiente:
- Tareas administrativas y presencia digital: Esta es una parte muy importante para una organización sin fines de lucro que necesita de donaciones para cumplir con su labor social. Necesitamos ser totalmente transparente con nuestras finanzas y proyectos, y mantener todo bien organizado. También necesitamos estar posteando constantemente en las redes sociales para mejorar nuestra presencia digital y estar seguros de ser conocidos para poder recibir donaciones. Por otro lado, tendremos que llenar muchas aplicaciones por medio de proyectos para ser apoyados financieramente. Necesitamos traducciones en Frances e Inglés.
-Contrucción:
Tenemos muchas ideas y sueños para implementar en nuestra finca. Nos gustaría construir algunos kioskos para diferentes clases y también nos gustaría construir unas cabañas para turismo y así obtener un ingreso aparte de las donaciones.
—Huerta:
La permacultura es uno de nuestras partes más importantes del proyecto, por tanto necesitamos personas apasionadas que nos den una mano con esta actividad.
—Enseñanza:
Problamente la parte más importante, estos niños y jóvenes necesitan gente brillante para enriquecer su conocimiento y habilidades. Cualquier conocimiento valioso es bienvenido.
—Limpiar y organizar:
Esto también sera una parte importante en la que necesitaremos ayuda, esta actividad será compartida entre todos, para vivir en un lugar agradable.

Accommodation
A shared house with two rooms that connect to share the bathroom. One room with a double bed and the other room with two single beds. (4 people)
Shared kitchen.
Meals (breakfast and lunch) will be shared every day, dinner by your own. We will rotate on the cooking and dishes. (Three meals a day)
VERY IMPORTANT !
Since were are a non profit organization and we are just starting we cannot afford the food cost so we ask for a 30.000 Colombian pesos collaboration.

Una casa compartida con dos habitaciones que comparten un baño. One habitación with una cama doble y otro cuarto con dos camas individuales, (4 personas)
Cocina compartida.
Comidas (Desayuno y almuerzo) será compartido cada día, la cena si cada uno se organiza :). Vamos a rotar la cocinada y el lavado de platos. (3 comidas al día)
MUY IMPORTANTE !
Dado que somos una organización sin fines de lucro y que apenas estamos empezando, no podemos pagar el costo de la comida, por lo que solicitamos una colaboración de 30.000 pesos colombianos.
Esperamos que entiendan la necesidad de esta colaboración.
What else ...
We are at 6km from the village of San Roque and there are buses that pass by the house to go there. Also we are like 2 hrs away from Medellin.
There are some rivers and 2 waterfalls. (Identified qt the moment)
You can visit local and authentics cane sugar fabrics-farms and also coffe farms.
You can ride horses and of course do many walks, we are in the middle of gorgeous mountains.

Estamos a 6 km del pueblo de San Roque, y hay buses que pasan por la puerta de la finca para ir al pueblo y para ir a Medellin, estamos como a 2 horas.
Hay ríos y 2 cascadas (identificadas :) )
Puedes visitar fabricas-fincas locales y autenticas de la panela y fincas de café.
Pueden montar a caballo y realizar caminatas en el medio de las hermosas montañas.
