    Description

I live in a small three-storey house with a beautiful garden in a village halfway between Munich and the mountains, surrounded by fields and woods. It's an hour's drive or train ride to Chiemsee with its world-famous castle of King Ludwig, and a 30-minute train ride to Munich from the nearest train station (Assling is 5 km away, Grafing 10 km, bus connection). There is a little shop in the village, the nearest supermarket is a few kilometres away. I am an outdoor and nature lover and my region is a paradise for cycling, hiking, swimming in one of the nearby lakes or climbing a mountain - or just enjoying life in a typical Upper Bavarian village with all its traditions. I am a single mother of a 5 year old boy who has accompanied me on many trips around the world (e.g. across South America). I love learning about other cultures and intercultural exchange.

NOTE: I am not in search of male company and/or a boyfriend (as I got some weird messages of male workawayers).

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

I am a world traveller and interested in all kinds of cultural exchange. I love to hear stories from all over the world and have a lot to tell myself (crossed all of Africa and South America in a camper van). My neighbours are very nice people, one of them is from England and has travelled a lot, my other neighbours lived in New Zealand. I'd be happy to show you some of our local Upper Bavarian culture, such as a visit to a beer garden, a local festival or a hike to a mountain pasture (Alm).
I am also happy to accomodate German travelers who´d like to spend a short holiday in one of the most beautiful regions of the country (Upper Bavaria).

  • Help

    Help

As a single mother I need help around the house, in the household and in the garden (laundry, cooking, gardening, cleaning). You should also like to spend time with my little boy and entertain him when I have to work extra hours after Kindergarten (8.30am to 3pm). We could also do some activities together to explore the area.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

There is a lot to explore southeast of Munich. You can catch a bus from our village to Grafing or Bad Aibling (4x/day) and take a train to Munich, Salzburg, Rosenheim, Prien am Chiemsee or other beautiful areas and cities. You can borrow a bike from us and I can bring you to the train station by car. There is no nightlife and party scene around. This area is good to enjoy nature and the Bavarian lifestyle.
