    Description

Due to the pandemic, I don’t wish to take any workawayers for the foreseeable future.

I live in a bi-lingual (English/Irish) Gaeltacht in NW Donegal.
My home is situated about 3km uphill from the village of Gortahork. The view from the house of the Derryveagh mountains is spectacular. It is close to beaches, lakes, rivers and mountains . The area is popular for hill walking, cycling, surfing, kayaking, fishing etc. It is a place that attracts many artists because of its beauty. It is also popular with those interested in Irish traditional music. During the summer a lot of students from other parts of Ireland come here to practice the Irish language. I have six children but only my youngest daughter now lives at home with me. It is a rural, quiet but friendly area.
