I had the pleasure of hosting Leonie and Viktoria in January 2025 and it was an absolute delight to have them with us. From the moment they arrived, they brought a positive and enthusiastic energy to our home.
Both Leonie and Viktoria were incredibly hardworking and dedicated to the tasks I assigned them. They were quick learners and showed a

Not only were they reliable and diligent workers, but they also integrated seamlessly into our crew dynamic. They were respectful, courteous, and always willing to engage in meaningful conversations. Their friendly and outgoing personalities made them a joy to be around, and they quickly became a part of the team.
In addition to their work ethic and positive attitude, Leonie and Viktoria also brought a wealth of cultural knowledge and experiences to my home. They shared stories from their travels, introduced me to new recipes, and even taught me a few phrases in their native language. It was a truly enriching experience to learn from them and exchange ideas.
Overall, I cannot recommend Leonie and Viktoria highly enough. They were exceptional workawayers who made a lasting impression on my home. I am grateful for the time we spent together and would welcome them back with open arms anytime. Thank you both for your hard work, dedication, and the memories we shared. Wishing you all the best in your future adventures!

We had a wonderful time staying with Didier. During our stay we mainly helped him with his dogs. Every day we took each dog for a walk. We really enjoyed the daily walks and their company. All of his pets (of course including Enzo the cat) were extremely cuddly and a joy to be around.
Other than that, we only had to help with small chores, such

In our free time we loved playing Uno and different board/ card games and sharing stories with him. In return for us helping him improve his Uno skills, he taught us how to play pool.
On the weekends we were able to take time off and explore the nearby cities.
All in all, Didier was a generous host who always made sure we felt safe, comfortable and at home. Especially when a huge storm hit Ireland he was always looking out for us and our well being, for which we are very grateful.
We would recommend Didier to anyone who is looking for a nice company, great advice and a fun time!

I spent 6 wonderful weeks with Didier, his two lovely dogs and his cute cat. The friendly George, the funny Ginger and the cuddly Enzo - three friends. Looking after them was more fun than work. I really took all three of them to my heart and it was very hard to say goodbye to them.

He cooked for our lunch and dinner every day and always asked me what I wanted, and I did the washing up in return. We ate together, talked about God and the world, he tried to teach me how to play pool and helped me a lot to improve my English.
I had weekends off and was able to discover some beautiful places in Ireland.
The stay was very relaxed, I never felt like a stranger.
Thank you very much for the wonderful time. Any time again.Left by host for Workawayer (Johanna)

I stayed a bit more than two months with Didier and the animals and I was genuinely sad when I left. I learned so much! First of all how to take care of two wonderful dogs and a fluffy lovely cat. They will give you all their love and you'll feel it. Every morning I got to walk with one of the dogs to the lake nearby and enjoy Irelands beautiful
… read more nature and fresh air.
Didier is also a really good pool player and we played on many fun nights.
I also picked up a few French words and juggling skills, so if you're interested in that, this is the right address!
What I'm surprised with the most is that he not only managed to teach me (basic) cooking, but that I also quite enjoy it now. I came there with zero skills and in the end I was able to cook a nice meal for us. So don't worry if you can't cook, he'll either teach you or you simply get to enjoy his amazing food. He's a passionate cook and I can promise you that the food will be delicious!
What I'm trying to say is, he's a great teacher so if you want to learn, you'll learn a lot.
I am so happy that I could spend those two months in the house. It really felt like coming home when I came back after the weekend (on which you are usually free by the way).
Didier told me once what he thinks about workaway. That it's not made to find free employees and that he's not trying to be anybody's boss, but that it's made to exchange experiences, to learn and if you're lucky to make new friends.
And I can say that I've made a friend.
So, thank you, Didier, for having me.You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
