Description
Hello Workawayers,
I'm happy to tell you that according to the world travel & tourism Council, Tanzania was awarded the safe Travel Destination stamp, so don't hesitate to come over and help people in need.
My name is Weza. Weza is a swahili word which was given by my friends, it means ''the ability to do something”. My official name is AUGUSTINO and I run a non profit organization. The organization was founded back in 2019 after I spent time traveling through East Africa conducting research on agriculture, economic development and childcare.
OUR MISSION
1.To help children and youth from different backgrounds to improve their future lives through education and talent development.
2.Encourage the players to maintain satisfactory grades in school and to emphasize the importance of keeping a proper relationship and balance between scholastic and athletic endeavours.
3.Keep our community youth busy and away from using drugs.
4.Bringing our youth closer together through common interest in education, soccer and arts.
WHAT WE DO
In here, we have three different programs:
- Education
- Football Academy
- Communication and Arts
EDUCATION PROGRAM:
The education program is our oldest, with a clear goal: to educate children from diverse backgrounds before they start elementary school. In addition to teaching children math, English and Swahili, we aspire to create a better environment for them to learn and grow.
We also need teachers to teach teachers, giving them tools to improve their classrooms. If you come to teach children you will be very helpful, but you will be more helpful if you come to give new visions to teachers. If you are a teacher or want to gain experience in teaching, this is the program for you.
FOOTBALL PROGRAM:
Our football academy started with the aim of taking care of children and youth academically in school and, after school hours, in different sports and games to keep them healthy and busy.
Our focus is to provide stimulation through the power of education, as well as a soccer experience for children and youth in a way that it develops and enhances their skills and passion for the game. Our effort is to ensure that further down the line, this skill and enthusiasm translates into success for them, both on and off the field.
If you are a football trainer, this is your program.
COMMUNICATION PROGRAM
We have developed a media network that needs people who are passionate about graphic design, websites, social media and communication to carry it forward. Also, if you can add to these qualities your artistic skills, such as filmmaking, singing, music and dance it will be great news. If you can donate audiovisual materials, if you can give music lessons, if you can donate instruments, and in general if you are willing to share knowledge and help our project get more visibility outside Tanzania.
Content creators are welcome. Artists welcome. Youth soccer supporters welcome. Aspiring teachers welcome. Communication experts welcome. Construction/architecture specialists: welcome. People who want to experience Tanzania and at the same time help this organization are welcome.

Help
There are many options and we are happy to hear new ideas that we could implement to improve our services to children and youth. Volunteers are currently urgently needed to help in the following areas.
1. Teaching children from 3 to 6 years old different subjects such as drawing, math, writing, and many others (every morning from Monday to Friday).
2. Coaching the soccer academy (after school hours, approximately from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.).
3. Carry out the communication project through social and our media and manage the entire digital communication.
4. Teach music: we are looking for teachers for our music program who can show children how to play different instruments and work in groups.
5. Fundraising for the project: we are looking for volunteers who can help with online fundraising.
6. Teaching teachers in English or other languages.
We warmly welcome you to be part of our organization and make life meaningful for children and youth here in Arusha.Languages spoken
