Description
We have been fortunate to spend the last few long summers at our beautiful, old manor house in South West France and have hosted some fabulous Workaways during that time.
We are very lucky to have hosted many brilliant Workaways who have both worked with us and house sat when we are away.
We love the Chalosse countryside in Les Landes. The locals are friendly, the weather is mild and we are just an hour away from beautiful beaches and a couple of hours away from the Pyrenees.Types of help and learning opportunities

The locality itself and the friendly locals will enable opportunities for those wishing to improve their French. We both speak some french and would love to introduce beginners to the language.
We have lots of local knowledge to share and if house-sitting during our absence, we will keep in close communication.Help

We have a gardener who comes twice a month but there are always light duties to do outside. When we are there, we love working together with our workaway volunteers and exchanging stories and ideas. However, there will be periods of house sitting too in the next year ahead when workaways who are happy with their own company or ideally in a couple/with a friend.
