    Description

    Welcome here

This is a work in progress, a collaborative, creative, and shared space that is gradually taking shape, fueled by the energy and hands of those of us who live here and those who wish to join us on this journey. We are currently in the midst of construction: building cabins, improving trails, landscaping common areas, and bringing to life a piece of land with immense potential.

In the long term, our dream is for this place to become a sustainable and as self-sufficient place as possible, a resource for both the local community and people from elsewhere who wish to get involved, whether on a one-off or long-term basis. We want this to be a space that can host other projects: permaculture, cultural initiatives, artist residencies, workshops, talks, training sessions, classes, and all those initiatives that arise from respect for the land and its inhabitants.

    Who lives here?

We are a small, diverse community that contributes its passions and knowledge:

Melissa – French, a lover of theater and good food, always seeking creative ways to inhabit space.

Carlos – from Bogotá, resourceful, a creator of solutions and beautiful, crazy ideas that become reality.

Astrid – from Medellín, passionate about planting and working the land, guardian of the garden and plants.

Alfonso – from the Llanos plains, an unstoppable force that drives every project he's involved in.

Nicolás – Astrid's son, a lover of nature and animals.

Juanes – Astrid's son, curious and passionate about music.

Simona and Calcetin – the two goats who keep us company.

If you enjoy community life, nature, working with your hands, creativity, and building collective dreams, this could be the perfect place to share, learn, and make your mark.

We invite you to be part of the process. Everything here is just beginning, and every contribution helps build the space we envision. Welcome here!

    Bienvenid@s

¡Bienvenid@ !

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

we understand cultural exchange as a simple and authentic experience of living together. Visitors can immerse themselves in rural Colombian life and the relaxed pace of a small town: from the tejo courts to traditional cuisine. There are also local opportunities to learn about fundamental regional processes, such as coffee production or the artisanal making of panela (unrefined cane sugar). For us, sharing is natural: chatting at the end of the day, cooking together, and learning from each other's experiences. We don't aim to create a tourist experience, but rather a space where everyone can discover, at their own pace, what life is like here and also contribute a piece of their own culture.

    1. Construction Assistance

    - Woodworking and bamboo work
    - Space preparation
    - Minor repairs and improvements
    - Assembly of simple structures

    2. Daily Living Support

    3. Fieldwork
    - Cleaning and preparing the space
    - Building pathways
    - Planting and tending crops
    - Harvesting
    - Processing products when possible

If you have the time, enthusiasm, and initiative, you can also propose and develop a personal or group project!

What kind of people are we looking for?
All kinds of people are welcome: the most important thing is a willingness to share, adaptability, and understanding that, for now, conditions aren't the most comfortable, as we're still under construction.

That said, if you have experience in construction, agriculture, plumbing, carpentry, or related areas, that will be a huge plus!

    --

    Accommodation

For now, we have a single dormitory with two bunk beds, accommodating four people. Camping is also an option for those who prefer more independence or are traveling with their own gear; ideally, you should bring a sleeping bag, although we have some blankets we can lend if needed.

Meals are usually prepared collectively: we cook together when possible and take turns preparing food and washing dishes. Sometimes, especially in the evenings, everyone can choose to be more independent if they wish.
