    Description

    Hello travellers.
We run an NGO promoting teaching outdoors, understanding diversity and tolerance. We work closely and actively with schools and pupils from countryside, changing their perception of foreigners, as well as with young people from beautiful city of Wroclaw.

We are back. The description below is more or less accurate but due to covid situation we were closed for nearly a year. We are comming back with our camps and meetings in June and July so we are looking for volunteers to help us with students and on the farm over th next month or two.

From March up until the end of September we cooperate with EU and AIESEC volunteers, so you may expect lots of other volunteers from around the world while staying with us. Depending from time of the year you will either spend more time in Wroclaw (from October until the end of April), with occasional weekends in the countryside, or in the countryside (May until the end of September) with weekends in Wroclaw.

During the summer time we run camps for the students. In may June and September you may be asked by teachers or parents to stay with another family for a week or two. You don't have to do that, however it is a nice opportunity to meet true locals. From October until April we work with schools and neighbouhoods of Wroclaw, we organize workshops and introduce foreigners to country schools and local PRU for an hour a week. We try to run funny team - building activities with youths.
We operate throughout the year, and there is always someone we can help or cooperate with, so if you are looking for a roof don't hesitate to contact us.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We cooperate with Erasmus and AIESEC, so you can meet a lot of interestig people while staying with us. We work closely with countryside schools, community schools and open schools, each of those will give you a little different experience and will teach you different skills useful in life. Finally as an NGO we focus on teaching outdoors, in nature and you will be a very important part of our workshop. When we teach about History or Geography, your and your fellow volunteers voice supposed to be heard. We want to introduce different cultural narrations and different teaching styles to our pupils. You will learn how to teach, you will learn teaching others, you will meet pupils from different backgrounds and you will hopefully change the perception of those less fortunate.

We work closely with young people, but we also have an old farmhouse which requires some work from time to time. If you like gardening, we have a garden which needs to be looked after- frequently with pupils.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Lower Silesia, Poland and Europe is open for you. We don't work everyday, so you will have plenty of time for sightseeing. You can leave your bags with us and travel light to see Europe. There are cheap airlines connections from Wroclaw's airport to most of European capitals. Wroclaw is a great town with many students and 1000 years old history. It is actually closer from Wroclaw to Prague and Berlin then to Warsaw or Krakow. I think our city is a perfect base-camp for you to see Europe.
