Description
We are a fun loving family that relocated 20 years ago from the UK to France. We have enjoyed hosting over 80 people over a 13 year period. We are looking for a person or couple for two weeks to a month.
We are Matt, Becky, Edouard (19) and Henri (17) and Pippa ( chocolate lab) Ella and Joe the cats. We speak English and French at home as we are dual nationals.

We believe in work hard and play hard, so equal measures of fun to be experienced here! Another pair of hands or two to help with household chores, gardening, wood stacking, animal care and pet sitting. You will be treated as part of our family.

Accommodation
A bedroom with one double bed and living space.
Our house is fully centrally heated and has stove for added romantic warmth, so very warm even during the cool spells. Equally with big stone walls and shutters very cool during the summer.
What else ...
We ask for 25 hours a week in return for three meals a day and your own room with facilities. We have two children and jobs so we are not always about. Use of Internet.
We would prefer a couple ideally aged between 25 and 50ish happy to fit in with busy family.
We only except non smokers. We believe in a healthy varied diet including vegetarian, meat, fish, eggs and fruits. We can not accommodate strict VEGANS.
The area is rich in mountain scenery and great those who like to be out and about. It is also quite and tranquil and a great place to relax. Sporting activities throughout the year are nearby from skiing to rock climbing.
Our village has its own shop and fantastic bar/restaurant so although rural not completely cut off. Every week there is a social throughout the summer.
We would love to welcome you to be part of out family for a few memorable weeks.

It was our first workaway experience and we couldn't be happier about it. We spent 3 excellent weeks with the Thatcher family, where we feel like two more members of the family.
