We live on a beef farm 3km from the Village of McBride BC, between the Rocky and Caribou Mountains.
Our farm is a rural setting so it’s best suited for workaways that have a vehicle.Types of help and learning opportunities

We can show you how to weld, use power tools properly, do minor mechanical repairs, re-roof a house & do home repairs. You can learn how to harvest a garden and store vegetables for winter. Do canning and freezing of fruit and vegetables..
We often have baby chicks so you can watch them grow and change from chicks to hens.
If you’re interested we can teach you to ride motorbikes or skidoos.
You will also learn to always pet the dogs as they will assume that’s what you’re here for.Help
We are needing help with some of our daily tasks. This could be repairing motorbikes, working on car engines, cooking and baking, walking with the dogs, shoveling snow, mowing lawns, planting gardens & greenhouse, painting projects etc.

We have a 2 bedroom fully furnished cottage on the farm. It has a complete kitchen and a full bathroom (no tub, just a shower). Shorter stays are also available in our 4 bedroom home on the farm.

Jasper is a 1.5 hr drive away and Prince George is 2 hrs. There is a nice ski hill and beautiful lake resort 1.5 hrs away. Plenty of hiking, biking trails nearby.
We are a family orientated home. Our 4 young adult children and 8 grandchildren are around often.A little more information
