    Description

G’day, I’m Tracey! 👋 I’ve got myself a little patch of paradise on the river, complete with actual platypus (yep, not kidding). There’s a pool for hot days, a firepit for chilly nights, and enough peace and quiet to make you forget what day it is.

I’m only 9 minutes from Malanda and just over an hour from Cairns—through rainforest so pretty you’ll wanna stop for selfies every 5 minutes. Up here on the Tablelands it’s nice and cool, so you won’t be sweating buckets while working outside. Bonus! Nearby you’ve got waterfalls galore, Lake Eacham and Lake Barrine for swims, and the Curtain Fig Tree—basically a giant natural wonder that looks like it belongs in Avatar.

At home, I’ve got all the essentials: pool table, darts, Netflix, Disney+, Stan, and two four-legged security guards. Kohl is my gentle giant German Shepherd, and Jeddah is my bossy little Smithfield Stumpy Tail who thinks she owns the joint.

I’ve got two spare rooms with queen beds (singles or couples, no worries), a shared bathroom, free Wi-Fi, and I’ll keep you well fed. All I ask is around 25 hours a week of help. Pretty sweet deal: good food, comfy bed, cheeky banter, and a lifestyle you’ll be bragging about to your mates.

  • Help

    Help

I’m looking for a hand with the upkeep of my home and property. This includes general house cleaning, a bit of yard work, mowing the paddock to keep the walkway to the river clear (you’ll get to take my ride-on mower, lovingly named Gus Greenfield, for a spin), plus some whipper-snipping and gardening like weeding.

From time to time, I’ll also need a trustworthy helping hand to house-sit and look after my two dogs—Kohl, my gentle German Shepherd, and Jeddah, my cheeky Smithfield Stumpy Tail—while I’m away for work. They love company, pats, and keeping an eye on things, so you’ll have the best little teammates by your side.
