Description
Cattleman, 68 years old, love trees, learning regenerative technics for the soil. Recently married, two young sons, son & daughter and another adult one. Want to be an entrepreneur in ecotourism and cultural travel.
We are located in a stunning landscape near Guadalajara, México, (1.5 hours away) in the municipality of Ixtlahuacán Del Río, which is about 15 minutes from the ranch, and we want to establish an edible forest around the house and share the experience and the view. We need eco solutions to supply energy and dwell to visitors, also to give them attention, food, fun and recreation. Regenerative agriculture is a goal in order to produce healthy food for the people and the animals in the farm.
We have this place since almost 60 years, it's a huge portion of land of about 1000 acres and almost no capital, it is a very valuable nature retreat near a very big city (near 5 million inhabitants), and we want to preserve this land for future generations.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The owners are city people but the personnel in the farm are campesinos, we would have a great opportunity to work with them and learn from them. Also share our knowledge between us in order to establish a new relation with nature. We are located in a recently declared Natural Protected Area with plenty of flora, fauna and fungi, and we want to make a nature reserve of our ranch, besides the production of healthy food and services.
Help
You can help in the citric orchard collecting the fruits or taking care of the trees. Or noursing the bees or the cattle, producing some dairy milk or feeding them. We also have a little module with worms to produce hummus. You can help us in the creation of soil retention structures. Or as a nature guide, or a teacher... We are starting with this and also you can give us some ideas on how to run this kínd of projects. We are open. Thanks.

What else ...
We are located about an hour and a half from Guadalajara, and we can go there for cultural activities and relax or medical asistance. The nearest town is Mascuala (5 km) and Ixtlahuacán Del Río (20 min.) We want help to guide groups of students and visitors and to raise cattle, horses, chickens, fish, trees, make photos, cooking, handcrafts, excercise, meditation, and entertainment. We can spend time reading and writing, walking and talking each other. We would colaborate in the design of the site, the farm, the lanscape. And have plenty of sun in the process. We want to pursue happiness while attending the place.

Muchas Gracias for sharing your beautiful home with my family. It is a shame it was so short lived, but under necessary circumstances.
