Description
Hello! My name is Lola. I’m currently on a gap year before heading to university, and I’m hoping to use this time in a meaningful and productive way. I enjoy working with children and animals, and I’m especially excited about opportunities that allow me to learn about new places outside of Canada. I also have a strong interest in farm life and enjoy hands-on work and being outdoors. I love meeting new people and hearing about their lives and experiences. I’m a curious, reliable, and adaptable person, and I’m always open to learning something new.

More details about your skills
I have been painting and drawing for the past six years, developing a strong foundation in visual art. I am also certified with a babysitting license in Canada, which has given me experience in caring for children responsibly and independently. In 2026, I completed a culinary boot camp at the Northwest Culinary Academy in Vancouver, where I built practical kitchen skills and confidence in cooking. I also have basic first aid training. I have experience riding and working with horses at a beginner level, and I am comfortable in hands-on environments. I lived in Paris for a year when I was ten, which sparked my interest in French cooking and culture. I hold a Level 1 driver’s license in Canada and am able to drive within the country. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
