    Description

    Dear lovely Volunteer,

You are very welcome to join our community school, a tiny no profit institute dedicated to providing free education for the children of Phrey Thmei Village, right beside Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Our mission is supporting children from rural Khmer villages around us, by teaching them English and computer skills, giving them the opportunity for a brighter future. Maybe, thanks to your help, one day they will go to university (some of our alumni actually did), become teachers or local guides!!

We are looking for kind-hearted volunteers, who really want to make an impact. Our community is so small, but we have more then 250 children and we are just 4 teachers. To help us you simply have to be passionate about teaching something, have a basic English and/or computer knowledge and love smiley children (they are so lovely). You will actually have the rewarding opportunity to directly teach Khmer children in the class (maybe sometimes supported by translation apps), helping them to improve their language and computer skills. If you want, you can even help us with social media management, our website, or organizing special event outside of the school.

    Volunteer Details:
Commitment: Volunteers are required for staying at least 1 month to ensure continuity in the children’s education and heart (they will miss you).
Accommodation: We provide free accommodation and 3 meals per day.
Working Hours: Volunteers will work a maximum of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, allowing time to explore the local area and engage with the community.
Location: Our school is located just 20 minutes from Siem Reap center and the stunning Angkor Wat Temple, making it the perfect base for experiencing the beauty and culture of Cambodia.
Requirements: Volunteers must be 18 years or older and have a basic understanding of the English language. No formal teaching experience is required, but a passion for education and helping others is essential.
