    Description

Looking for someone who can stay long term: preferably more than 3 months.

I am a pretty simple lady in my 40s, currently changing careers from teaching languages to becoming a psychotherapist. And currently enrolled in my master in psychotherapy.

    I have a roommate:
    🏡 Exchange student from France
🧘‍♀️ Quiet and reserved—keeps to herself and doesn’t initiate conversations unless spoken to
💡 Responsible & helpful—joins in for general cleaning and keeps a peaceful home.
💡 Trustworthy & reliable—I trusted her with my home for two months while I was traveling, and she took care of my cats. When we had a water leak, she was very diligent in notifying me and coordinating repairs with the landlord.

If you moved in, you would be sharing with two roommates (including the one already here). And my two cats. And I would be travelling.

    House Rules & Atmosphere:
🚫 No guests, no drinking, no smoking, no drugs
📖 Most people here enjoy books, video games, board games, and nature walks
🐱 The only chatterbox is one of the kitties—she “talks” but respects quiet hours (they don’t wake people up for food, they’re naturally well-mannered)

I am interested in farm life and sustainable living and will be doing some traveling myself while you are here.

I love the arts, history, music, and reading. I have a background in professional dance and fine arts. I enjoy intellectual conversations on a variety of topics.

1 room available for a minimum of 3 months.
    1 guest at a time.
Help out with cat sitting, and light cleaning duties.

Most likely: i will be travelling. I am just looking for someone to devote 8 hours per week playing with the cats. For an hour per day. And one hour of cleaning per week.

I offer free canned food: beans, rice, beets, if available. But because you are not doing much, I expect you take care of your own meals and food related expenses. I cover house supplies (toilet paper, sponges, dish soap).

There is a community kitchen 15 min walk away if you don't feel like cooking. They serve delicious lunches and you can buy a second serving for dinner around 2 pm. Cost is 2.5$ per meal.
