  • Description

We have a small organic grain farm right off Hwy 16. Myself (Marika Age 21) and my parents, Denise and Dennis.
There are some farm chores that we could use help with but mostly yard work. We have a few animals and a large garden that needs tending and small tasks around the yard. Currently we are raising rabbits, pigs, and laying hens.
We eat meat but are happy to accommodate vegan or vegetarian diets.

The farm is about 30 min from Riding Mountain National park which has many summer activities and beautiful hiking/biking trails.

Travellers can learn gardening and sustainable food practices. We collect manure from our animals to maintain our gardens and rain off our house. We are trying to maintain not just plant health but soil health as well.

I also make most of our food from scratch. We can teach how to make fresh fruit pies, pasta, and other baked goodies.
