Hello, we own and live at a Farm Visitor Experience, a family-run farm set in a stunning valley along the Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast of Ireland. Our farm welcomes visitors from all over the world to experience authentic Irish farm life, friendly sheepdogs, and breathtaking scenery. As a Workawayer here, you’ll be part of a small, welcoming team helping with visitor experiences, farm activities, and day-to-day life, while enjoying a relaxed, social atmosphere and plenty of time to explore the coast, mountains, and nearby villages. We love sharing stories, meals, and local culture, and we’re looking for open-minded, positive people who enjoy nature, animals, and being part of a real Irish home and working farm.

Learn about traditional sheep farming in the west of Ireland and experience authentic rural Irish life. Immerse yourself in one of the most scenic and unspoilt areas of the island, where peace and tranquillity surround you — with mountains, heritage landscapes, and a stunning lake right on our doorstep. The farm is located just 5 miles from some of Ireland’s most beautiful quiet beaches and popular surfing spots.
We are easy-going and friendly hosts who enjoy meeting people from different cultures, sharing stories, and creating a relaxed, welcoming environment. We’re looking for a fun, open-minded, life-loving individual or couple to help out for a while. The Farm is an ideal base for exploring the west of Ireland, from coastal adventures to mountain walks. We offer a relaxed atmosphere, comfortable accommodation, meals, and grocery shopping for our guests. Previous hospitality experience is appreciated.

Help
We are seeking guests who enjoy hospitality to experience life at our visitor attraction where we provide Irish Cultural experiences of Sheep Herding, Irish Music, Turf Cutting. If you enjoy cooking that would be fantastic, we have an amazing cooking space and stunning outdoor area. Our little boy is ten years old, very active so we will also require some help with him and our little girl will be two years old in April 2026 and general help around the house. Do you like gardening? We also have 6 friendly border collie sheepdogs!!

2 bedroom immaculate apartment with kitchen and living space. Broadband available & a separate workspace in a beautiful setting. We ask all of our Workaway Guest to ensure the accommodation and living area is kept in an immaculate condition, bins emptied regularly, dining area used for preparing and eating food. This ensures it is a pleasant space for everyone and there are no issues with hygiene etc.
What else ...
We live close to an adventure centre where you can enjoy an array of activities. You can cycle to the beach or if you wish take the public bus to explore bigger towns and cities. We are seeking an individual or a couple to enjoy an experience on our farm.

We have six wonderful border collie sheepdogs who love their job and love people! They enjoy the company of people. Holly is the matriarch and she is enjoying retirement! Liz, Jill, Molly and Phoebe love their sheep work on the farm and especially like going to the mountain at different times during the year for sheep gathering!
