Katrin:
I am a 29-year-old travelling-enthusiast who is happy to make it to New Zealand on the Working Holiday Visa before I'm no longer young enough!
I am a registered architect in Germany and taking some time out for this year. I am hoping to combine some Workaway-Stays with working remotely for the architecture office I worked for so far. The idea of some hands-on work mixed with some hours of desk-work sounds really fun to me!
Together with Josh I love hiking and am looking forward to explore some of New Zealands great hiking trails. I have been to NZ before on a tourist visa and am looking forward to see more of it.
I am a calm, sun-loving nature-lover who is always up for a laugh.
Josh:
Hello there. I'm a video game producer who likes to escape the PC chair and head out into the wild.
As Katrin put above, we enjoy a good hike together and I am very much looking forward to exploring New Zealand. Maybe even following Frodo to Mount Doom.
I'm a social, friendly individual who is usually the one Katrin is laughing at.Interests

Katrin:
As an architect my experience of work with building-projects has been more theoretical so far but might still come in handy. I have some experience in woodworking from building models and an internship at a carpenters. I am a dedicated cook and love trying out new recipes (with the cooking app that I use I have already tried more than 350!) and I have worked as a kitchen hand in Australia for a while. I enjoy some gardening in my free time and would love to learn some more in that regard.
Josh:
I am a bit of a computer geek, with my professional career in Video Games often meaning I am tied to a PC in some fashion.
I also have experience with entertaining kids, especially from my time working in a Laser Tag arena.
That said, I grew up on a farm so am no stranger to working outdoors and operating a range of machinery. Additionally, I have WWOOF'd before in Australia on an organic garden which means I was able to gain some experience in that field too.Age

Our accommodation (our own little, clean apartment at the back of the house) was luxorious.
The work with Graham on his property was very varied so it never got boring. Amongst other things, we cleared some plants, chopped down branches and small trees, did some weed-eating and helped around… read more
