Description

Hi, I'm Jenny, 30, I'm currently travelling New Zealand and trying to explore new things. I'm excited to see what I can offer the world. I love animals, I volunteered in the UK with a cat rehoming charity and I have done some pet sitting whilst travelling. I have recently travelled in Canada and did some workaway there and a lot of pet sitting (see reviews). Back home, I worked with a substance misuse service for several years previously which has really helped shape how I value and treat people. Everyone has a story and I don't believe in judging their book.

I have a working holiday visa for New Zealand which expires May 2027.

I'm a quick learner and keen to tackle new things. I like going for walks/hikes and finding new places to explore.

Since going to Canada I've learned that I am very adaptable to new situations and scenarios and received a lot of positive feedback from my previous jobs.

I grew up in a rural area and we grew a lot of our own fruit and vegetables (UK weather permitting) so I have some experience with gardening. I've become a family go-to when it comes to assembling furniture also.

I am an honest, reliable and hard-working individual who pays close attention to detail. I am highly competent in literacy, numeracy and ICT, including Microsoft Office applications. I have good organisational skills. I have very strong customer service skills and experience of interacting with a wide variety of people.

Whilst travelling I have worked in hotels, pet care, and retail. I am happy to be out of my comfort zone and to try and develop my skills.

What else ...

I love music, hearing new songs and genres, and hearing what people love about the music they listen to. I like reading and learning new things. I like going for a walk by myself and getting lost in nature! Wandering along and finding new plants I've never seen, hearing water rushing or bird chirping, it's so lovely to be able to take a breath and soak in the surroundings.
