    What I welcome help with
    - Maintaining my home food garden weeding, planting, watering, upkeep, and general care, harvesting
    - House chores: dishes, sweeping, food prep
    - Daily dog walking and caring for our sweet dog, Aries

    Who I’m looking for:
    - 1 or 2 people, ideally comfortable working independently and on a team
    - Love for nature, gardening, and dogs is a big plus!
    - Responsible, friendly, and able to help out with household tasks

    About the location
Our island is a paradise with stunning beaches and trails covering the entire landscape. It’s perfect for outdoor lovers and those who enjoy exploring nature. Aries, our friendly and well-loved dog, knows the island well and loves showing visitors some of the best swimming and walking beaches. If you enjoy beach walks, trail hikes, and spending time outdoors, you’ll love it here!

House work is helping with sweeping floors, some meals, dishes, once a week a bathroom tidy and clean, and generally just help tiding up at the end of each day.

Gardening project can very from making new garden beds to harvesting or even processing the harvests, some watering depending on time of year.

Dog walking is one of the biggest things that will be needed, one walk from each work away hosted, if we are not doing a bigger project in a day. I am looking for 1 to 2 hours a day of exercise for the dog, if you love exploring beaches and different wooded paths. Aries is a perfect companion.

The island is a beautiful tourist destination and lots of outdoor walking paths and beaches to visit. I can help facilitate rides unless my schedule is not work able to do so there is a bus system on the island that can get you to most of the placese you need to go. There is a golf course, out door hockey rink(not on ice), tennis courts, skate park, three restaurants and if shopping is needed we are a 20 minute ferry ride to Nanaimo where there are also a bus system and many malls and shopping facilities.
