Description
Hello! We are Aylen and Franco, a 30-year-old Argentine couple with a shared dream of exploring as much of the world as possible.

We met when we were 15 years old in high school, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. We grew up together, attended university, and graduated in our respective fields: Aylen as an architect and Franco as a lawyer. After spending several years building our professional careers, we decided to follow our dream of traveling the world.

We are a very active couple and are used to handling many responsibilities at home, including caring for our pets, painting, gardening, mowing the lawn, maintaining a small vegetable garden, cleaning, and cooking. For many years in Argentina, we have rescued stray animals and helped local rescuers by providing temporary foster homes until the animals could find their forever families. Eight years ago, we adopted a vegetarian lifestyle because of our love for animals and our commitment to environmental conservation through recycling, reducing pollution, and caring for plants and nature.

We are both highly organized and value cleanliness and order. We understand how important these qualities are when sharing a home, and we are always happy to help keep living spaces clean, tidy, and welcoming.

We love nature and enjoy spending time outdoors. We are passionate about plants, animals, and outdoor activities, and we regularly engage in sports such as hiking, cycling, and many other physical activities. We also have a deep appreciation for art, food, and music.

Since starting our travel adventure, we have expanded our skills through volunteering and a variety of work experiences. We have worked in hostels, cleaning companies, restaurants, cafés, bars, and hotels. Along the way, we have discovered new interests, developed practical skills, and gained valuable knowledge that we are eager to continue expanding.

We are adaptable, flexible, and open-minded people. For us, the most important thing is to enjoy what we do and embrace every moment with a positive attitude. We believe that happiness is contagious: when you are happy with yourself and with what you do, you naturally share that energy with the people around you.

We look forward to meeting new people, learning from different cultures, and contributing wherever we can.

We feel capable to perform any type of task, far from getting frustrated, we always look for an alternative to solve the assigned jobs. We have done gardening, composting and general maintenance work, we also work in cleaning and gastronomy. We have a lot of love and care for animals.

We have spent a month of unbeatable stay with Cristiana, Pippo, Punch, Barbabuc, Nino and Leo.
They were the ideal hosts and we highly recommend them. From the day we arrived until the day we left they were loving, respectful, nice, teachers and flexible at all times. They have always been there for us and made sure we lacked nothing.
They have… read more made us feel part of their family, inviting us to snacks and dinners with friends on every occasion, sharing meals, stories and a few drinks too, where everyone was lovely!
We worked mainly in the garden, doing pruning, weeding and maintenance, gathering firewood for the winter and also construction work such as roofing a roof and scraping the entire exterior wall and preparing the surface to be painted. They take care of providing everything we need and always ensured our safety while doing the work, as well as giving advice or suggestions on how to do it better!
We stayed in a bright, comfortable and spacious private apartment for ourselves, with bathroom, kitchen and a large beautiful terrace that receives the sun every morning.
It is worth mentioning that when we arrived we were accompanied by Aylen's father and Cristiana and Pippo welcomed him with open arms and had no problem to host him for a few days with us, on the contrary, there were days that they even took us to and from the car, something that we appreciate with all our hearts because they are not only good hosts however people with incredible values, humility and heart. Also before leaving, they told us that if we needed to stay for more days there was no problem, they would do their best to get us all in, even though new volunteers were coming. Thank you very much for those beautiful and huge gestures, that speaks of people with big hearts.
Impossible not to mention those who without them the house would not be the same. Punch, an old Golden who does not give up his friendliness and desire to be brushed and pampered. Barbabuc, an intense young Australian Shepherd who is always ready to play and loves long walks. Finally Nino and Leo, cat brothers, who could eat and nap all day long (more Nino) and who came to visit us daily at the apartment to receive cuddles and cuddle with us on the bed.
Thanks for everything to all six of you, we will always carry you in our hearts and we hope that life will find us again, in Giaveno or anywhere else in the world.
