Franco and Aylin stayed for about a month. They started by taking care of the cats while I was on vacation. Projects they were given around the house were; removing trees, bushes & weeds. They also helped cleaned out rental apartments making them ready for new guests. They worked sufficient on their own with the projects and fulfilled my

We spent 2 weeks at Signe's lovely house working in the garden. It was our first work away and we couldn't have had a better introduction! Our tiny house was extremely comfortable and Signe provided us with everything we needed (including some really tasty bread!). The work was easy going but satisfying, and we had amazing views from the garden

Luke and Katie stayed for approximately 3 weeks. They took care of the cats while I was away for a week. Otherwise they helped around the house removing trees, bushes, weeds and other outdoor projects around the house. They worked on their own with the projects and fulfilled my experience and did the projects with a positive and sporty attitude.

Libusa & Mo were the sweetest couple. They ate adventquiz, reliable and such plesant company. They are hardworking, easy learning, independent and fun people. I really enjoyed having them at my place. They worked alone and efficiently while I was traveling, and they were so pleasant to work with when i was home. Otherwise they were given a list of
… read more projects and tasks at arrival. And they worked their way through the list on their own sufficiently. At the same time they always asked if they had any quiestions which I find as a polite and respectful thing to do. The also enjoyed the company of my cats that often hung around while working. They also watched them while i was away. During dinners together we had some great comversations. I do miss their company. And can definately reccomend them as your next Workawayers!

… read more yummy), yoga-teaching, loveable whirlwind with TONS of ideas and plans. And her interieur design background makes all of her plans look stunning. Where there was only a mossy wall is now a natural staircase to a viewpoint for example :D
Workaway tasks:
We cut, split, sawed and stacked a lot of fire wood among other smaller projects.
- Cat-sitting
- Bonfires
- Cutting down smaller trees
- Making the property ready for spring
Here just some stuff that you might be interested in:
accommodation:
- really big cosy appartement on the ground floor with a double bed, table, cabinets/dresser, couch and chairs
- your own bathroom (WC, shower, sink,)
- your own kitchen with everything you need
Meals:
Breakfast and lunch you make yourself in your kitchen and dinner is sometimes together sometimes you cook for yourself. Signe makes delicious food – lots of pasta, pizza, salads and we had GREAT veggie-burgers :)
What else:
- Bergen is a bus ride away
- Hiking opportunities? Yes, it´s Norway :D
- Dock for swimming or for a cup of coffee at the sea is in 5 minutes walking distance

We stayed one week at Signe's place and we had an amazing time in Norway.
Signe is a great host, arranged everything in order to make our stay a pleasant one. She is a very open-minded person, we had nice discussions during the tasty dinners we had together.

We were lucky enough to catch some sunny days and to be there when the sheep arrived at her place to welcome them - and we were helping around to make the place suitable for them.
So if you want to enjoy: beautiful views right from the window and help with interesting jobs - this is a great place where you can find it all.

… read more staying for a month, the view from the windows amazed us each morning. It was a real privilege to stay in such a beautiful place, surrounded by mountains and fjords. We were able to take gorgeous hikes and swim in the sea a few seconds from the house when we had time off. Throughout our stay, we did a combination of manual help in the garden, various projects around the house as well as creating yoga videos, photography and a website for Signe. Sometimes we were there to welcome Air BnB guests which we really enjoyed too. … read more were supposed to stay for 3 weeks, but because of their lojality, great sence of humor, dedication, patience, independence, positive attititude & work moral, stayed for 2,5 months! They were given a project list before arrival, just to have expectations and the couples expected knowledge clear before start. This skype meeting was pleasant and positive! I immediately said yes to their stay! A tour of the property after their arrival and it`s planned projects was done the first day. Przemyslaw & Kamila performed the tasks entrusted to them in a creative, budget friendly and smart manner. They are both organized, positive and communicate easily. At arrival a list over projects was introduced and printed out in paper. This list was during their stay added with new projects; some I added because I saw their broad knowledge a others they suggested as professional landscape architects. They worked sufficiently and independent, and asked if they where uncertain. I must say that I originally seeked help with carpenting and painting. BUT after getting to know K & P and entrusting myself to them, and vice versa we made magic in my garden. A garden that wa a total chaos unattended for 40 years, became, thanks to K & P, a amazing, inspiring, easy maintained and beautiful garden. Przemyslaw also buildt stone walls and stone paths with his bare hands. He is persistant, strong and solution minded! Kamila also impressed in her cooking, cleaning, gardening and sorting/ arranging skills. She has a true sence of order which is admirable. I really admire K & P, and from my heart reccommend them. Surroundings offers a lot of activity to do, hiking in mountain, kayaking, fishing, walking, swimming, and so on. We won't forget time when we spent in mountain hike paths or in Bjerndhal's hobbit house : ) Her neighborhood is as well great to stay, people who live there are so much friendly that we are in though shock when we have met their : D

Enjoyed trustful and spontaneously working with her, sitting on the terrace and talking about the life, delicious and healthy food, swimming in the fjord and making tours with the kayak, byking in the area of Rosendal, morning hikes on the hills over her house.

He helped me with carpenting, changing windows, cutting through concrete, setting up a clothing line in the garden, making a vegetable garden with plank and reusing windows.
