Dimit and Milica helped us with social media management as well as wall art. We were very happy with their work and would gladly welcome them back to collaborate with us again. Milica has extensive experience as a social media manager and brings strong professional photography skills, which added great value to our content. Dimit also has solid social media knowledge, and together they successfully managed all six of our social media accounts. They worked well as a team, were reliable, and delivered quality results. We highly recommend them.

Jorge is a fantastic volunteer, very helpful, a great friend to all the other volunteers, cheerful, full of energy, and we have the feeling that he has learned a lot. He came to climb, but also learned a lot about masonry, and above all, he had a wonderful time. Our doors are always wide open for him to come whenever he wants, both he and his family. He has many qualities that make him an ideal volunteer: great intelligence, emotional intelligence, clear ideas about life, and a proactive attitude that allows him to channel his energy forward with great ease. If this volunteer ever knocks on your door, you won't just receive any volunteer, you'll receive Superman! A big hug! We had a great week with Sebas, Ditte, Iluka and Ella in their lovely house in the mountains. The work we did was very diverse and ranged from helping in the garden to fixing stuff to sanding a bench. We felt free to work on items we liked and Sebas gave very clear directions. Sebas was very enthousiastic in sharing his knowledge about permaculture and showed interest in learning from us. We were happy that we could contribute to his ongoing project. Ditte prepared lovely tasty food for us and we shared lunch and diner with the family in a cosy atmosphere. We felt very supported in case we needed anything . We wish them all the best and when we are around next year, we will certainly stop by.

I spent a week with Paz in February and I had a great time! I mainly worked in the garden, but occasionally I would help clean the house. There was another workawayer with me, we each had our own room and shared a bathroom. Paz was great company and made many amazing meals for us. She was also very accommodating of me being vegetarian. I got to participate in a ceramics lesson and took us on a day trip to Toledo where she showed us around!

Quelle belle semaine passée chez Naomi et sa famille ! Dans une vallée un peu isolée mais accessible avec un bus, nous avons vécu quelques jours fabuleux dans leur magnifique maison japonaise de 130 ans. Malgré les températures fraîches, ils nous ont fournis kotatsu et grosses couvertures pour être bien cosy. La maison est en pleine nature entre forêt, rivière et plantations de thé. Naomi est une personne très agréable, curieuse et attentionnée. Malgré la barrière de la langue, nous avons bien échangé et rigolé grâce au traducteur. Nous avons accompagné Naomi dans ses nombreuses tâches quotidiennes : préparations des repas, vaisselle, lessive, jardinage, promenade des chiens. Nous avons également passé du temps avec les enfants après l'école en jouant aux cartes, faisant du karaoké ou regardant des animés. Nous avons pu participer au cours de Karaté de l'ainé ou encore faire un tour à vélo. Un soir, nous avons organisé une soirée crêpes et film. Ce fut une riche expérience pour nous et merci encore de nous avoir ouvert les portes de votre maison. Arigato Gozaimasu Naomi, Toru, Muku & Soso Neko, Anko & Kinako

This was my first Workaway experience, and it exceeded my expectations. From the beginning, Nhat and Ha were welcoming and supportive. They took the time to explain how the hostel operates and allowed me to understand the management side of hospitality. I learned a lot about organization, teamwork, and guest interaction during my stay. This hostel has a strong community atmosphere. It brings together travelers and volunteers from many different countries, creating a dynamic and positive environment. During my time in Da Lat, I was able to experience both the professional and social sides of hostel life. I appreciated the trust, the shared activities, and the sense of inclusion within the team. This experience helped me grow, not only in hospitality skills but also in communication and adaptability. Thank you for the opportunity.

Ich/Wir hatten wunderschöne fünf Wochen bei Petra und Georg. Ich habe mich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und sehr gut aufgenommen gefühlt. Es war eine rundum schöne erste Workaway-Erfahrung. Petra und Georg sind wirklich wundervolle Menschen. Sehr hilfsbereit, offen, freundlich und immer für einen Spaß zu haben! Spaziergänge am See mit Knut und Petra, Gartenarbeit wie das Schneiden der Hortensien oder das Bepflanzen der Beete, kreatives Arbeiten oder Backen im Haus gehörten zu unseren täglichen Aufgaben und haben uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Besonders gefreut hat mich, dass ich viel über Gartenarbeit dazulernen konnte. Uns wurden viele Freiheiten gelassen, sodass wir unseren Tag und die Aufgaben weitgehend selbst planen und organisieren konnten. Auch wenn das Wetter einmal nicht so gut war, haben Petra und Georg darauf geachtet, dass wir die schönen Stunden nutzen konnten, um die Insel zu erkunden. Oft saßen wir zusammen, haben tolle Gespräche geführt, Kaffee getrunken oder gemeinsam gekocht. Die Zeit allein mit Knut und Mosca war ebenfalls eine besondere Erfahrung und hat uns den Tieren noch nähergebracht. Vor allem von dem Kuscheln mit Knut auf dem Sofa konnte man nicht genug von bekommen. Alles in allem waren es ganz wunderbare Wochen, die viel zu schnell vorbeigingen und ich hoffe sehr, dass wir uns eines Tages wiedersehen.

My friend and I stayed with Priscila, Kelvin and their family for two weeks in the beginning of February. Although it rained a lot we had a wonderful first Workaway-Experience. They were friendly and welcoming hosts, always trying to make our daily (work-)life pleasant! We learned a lot about gardening from Priscila. Other tasks included walking the dog, feeding the chickens and clearing the forest. Even without a car, we were able to explore the area really well. Either with the family's bicycles or because we were taken to the beach by car. We highly recommend staying with this loving family and look forward to perhaps returning again in the future :)

This is my second Workaway project and I couldn't be luckier! Jon, Teresa & Alicia have been such welcoming hosts, and their Finca is truly wonderful! The vegetation is so incredibly diverse. One can learn soooo much here!! It truly self sustaining! And their collection of chickens and ducks is the best!! they are truly so lovely - love caring for them!! I am here with 3x other volunteers who are incredibly welcoming and are excellent chefs. They have been so kind to share each meal with me! I feel very lucky to have been accepted on this project for so many reasons. Speaking of Lucky, there is an adorable 6 month old puppy named Lucky. 🐶

Maximiliano es una persona muy gentil y trabajadora. Me ayudo en la terminacion de la construccion de tres baños destacando las buenas terminaciones y el cariño que entrego a la construcion, con ideas que mejoraron el proyecto. Gracias a su cooperacion salimos adelante con un lindo proyecto que hoy funciona.

Marin and Anna were house sitting for us and took care of our cat and plants while we were travelling. They are a lovely couple with good communication skills and a clear sense of responsibility. They were well suited for the job and tasks at hand and we would welcome them back any time.

I had a really good stay at this hostal . I stayed for 3 weeks and that gave me all the oppertunity to explore Chiloé. The hostal felt cozy, Camila is a hardworking and lovely person and the work is chill and easy. I can recommend this place!

Although I planned to volunteer for 2 weeks here, I ended up staying for 3 months. The camp gave me the wonderful opportunity to learn more about rural life and how to manage the campground, thanks to the trust that Lika placed in me. It felt nourishing and amazing to take care of the campground facilities as if it was my own home, from managing reservations, cleaning the rooms, and welcoming so many beautiful people from all over the world. The work is very systematic and easy to manage, as most of it is in the mornings after the check-ins and check-outs are done. And if there are no guests? you get to enjoy picking up apples from under the trees or go for a swim at the nearby river. This place is exceptionally special in attracting peaceful and lovely people because of the beautiful energy it holds and you might end up making new friends! I consider it a privilege to have met and worked with Lika in her beautiful camp. She gives you the freedom to be creative in improving the camp while also being very flexible and determined for you to have a peaceful and good time in her place. I still cannot believe this was my first workaway experience as it raised the bar so high!

I had a too short but sweet time at t2's beautiful haven, we all get on well and had great conversations. I felt free to explore and make time for myself within the peaceful nature which I had hoped for and it met my expectations. We exchanged our own cultures dance and stories from around the world, ate lunch and dinner together and sat round the fire it was very wholesome. Thanks for being awesome! ☺️

Sofia is a bright light for any project. She's capable, smart and has great work ethics, and at the same time she's a lot of fun, loves to laugh and share smart and funny jokes. She's an excellent yoga teacher and a mature and tolerant person, her presence brought harmony and union is our community, we had a great time together! Thank you Sofi! Come back any time!

Our stay with Henriikka, Ville, and their fun kids was delightful! This was our family's first Workaway experience, and they set the bar high! From the moment we arrived (and beforehand, by message), their family was so friendly and welcoming to us, and we felt completely comfortable and at ease. They were so easy to chat with, and we shared many interesting conversations and laughs. They so generously shared their time and Finnish life, and were also just really fun to hang out with and talk to. The guest house was perfect for our family of five--clean, cozy, comfy beds, and with plenty of room and privacy for our family. Meeting and staying with this lovely family was a highlight of our experience in the Nordics, and we are so grateful for our time together!

I staid at Emma & Anthony's for the past 3 weeks. working in a shelter was one of my biggest wishes, and I definitely loved it, it was even better than I imagined. I was really impressed to see how hard work it is and how this brilliant team of people are nailing it, every day, in every kind of weather, even in stressful situations they just know what to do and how to do it with compassion, anderstanding and cleverness. it was mind blowing for me to see how traumatized dogs are still extremely loving soul when they're shown love and respect. if you want to experiment life in a shelter, where dogs (and people) are well treated, loved, and supported to grow confidence, then here's your place. Even if you love dogs but are more like a handy or IT person, they always need a lil of support with all kind of work. If you choose to volunteering at their place, you will be welcomed as home, asked for what you prefer to do (every day), listened and supported in case of any kind of doubts. You'll also be hosted in a really cosy place of your own, probably will be amazed by the beauty of the place and the inclusivity of the working team, and definitely will miss the place once you're gone, as much as I do, but it's way worth it ! thank you Emma and all the Street Hearts BG team for this amazing mounth I had in your company, I'm verry grateful, love, Anouk

Volunteering at this hostel has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my travels. I stayed a little over two weeks but even in such a short time I felt part of a family. The tasks were clear and fair and the organization made everything easy and smooth. What makes this place special is the atmosphere. It is a party hostel so there is always something going on and always someone to have fun with if you want to party. At the same time there is a shared vibe of art and music that gives the place a creative and inspiring energy. You can feel it in the people and in the common spaces. Even though I was there for a short time I left feeling deeply connected and I truly left a piece of my heart there.❤️ I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a warm creative and fun volunteering experience✨
