Description
Hey travellers,
We're currently seeking guests to arrive asap and ideally stay till the end of the month.
Come and enjoy some more of summer 😎
We've been working on this farm for the last 6 years, it was previously abandoned. We decided to dedicate our time & energy to this project because being in nature feels good, we love watching the trees and the veggies grow. We try to create a healthy and beautiful space where people can come together and feel good. That's the idea; sharing and caring :)Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We like to celebrate life and have a good time, we have friends who pop by to visit, especially on the weekends. We don’t live there, but will visit a few times a week. We’re very busy during the week, but like to stop & enjoy time together socially on the weekends. We'd appreciate having people here who are good communicators & will keep us in the loop of what’s happening, asking questions when they’re not sure how to proceed with something or if they have new ideas they’d like to try.
Help
You can help creating a Garden of Eden. There's about 200 fruit trees (half of them mandarines), plus many herbs & medicinal plants. There are also quite a few animals; chickens, roosters, ducks & a dog. Please note that we are not vegetarians, we are working towards food sustainability and some animals will be used for meat. The tasks required of guests will be mainly caring for the animals, watering the plants & cleaning/weeding the gardens. Guests must have experience living independently and be used to caring for themselves; cooking, cleaning, shopping etc. and ideally we’d like people who love animals and have a positive attitude.

There are caravans to sleep in, and we have mosquito nets for the beds. There’s electricity and running water, plus another caravan that we’ve transformed into a beautiful wooden kitchen (with table), fully equipped for cooking, eating, and hanging out. There's an indoor shower (with hot water), and we're using a dry toilet system (solids only).
WiFi; isn't available on our farm, but the mobile data connection is amazing & there's a bar in town with WiFi (5 min walk). We can also hotspot you if needed while we're there. What else ...
In your free time you can visit Tortosa (there is a bus), and do other things like trekking in the mountains nearby, swimming in the river Ebre (20min walk), or simply hang out on the farm. The closest town is called Bítem (5min walk) where you'll find supermarkets, restaurants, bars, banks, and a lovely veg market. We’ll share time together and we'll try to make your stay a happy one, but please remember that we're busy so cannot be present every day. We often have friends coming over for coffee, a drink or BBQs, and you'll always be welcome to join us.
ARRIVAL; you can catch the train from Barcelona (Estación de França, Barcelona Sants, or Passeig de Gracia), to TORTOSA. The journey is 2 - 2.5 hours and costs 12-13€ one way; we will pick you up at Tortosa train station and take you to the farm. Coming from elsewhere; please ask us...A little more information

It was easy to work with them, because they are really calm and patient when it comes to solving problems. They were always very nice to us and this made the communication effective and pleasant.

I was with Jonathan and Teresa from December 7th to 22nd together with my boyfriend Giannetto and we had a great experience.
Jonatan and Teresa were nice and kind even if we didn't know each other well, since they don't live on the farm and we were short on time we didn't see each other on many occasions, however they always… read more
