I was planing on staying for 2 weeks but ended up staying for a whole month. The house is very welcoming, large commune areas to enjoy. The cleaning work itself is really easy, most of the students were coming and leaving because of the holidays, so I also helped with refreshing the painting in the rooms. Next to that, I got a lot of free time to enjoy Viña, which was amazing. Paulina wasn't at the house but the communication was still super good through WhatsApp and also thanks to her friend who was in the house, she also helped me figure out the buses and just basic helpful stuff to adjust in Chile in general. I also really enjoy talking to the people in the house to improve my Spanish et learn about Chilean culture. Muchas gracias de nuevo, soy muy agradecida 😊

I’m so grateful to Angi, Ñaño, and Fafi for an amazing experience. They are so welcoming and create an incredible environment for getting to know the animals, experiencing Chilean culture, and relaxing as well. The animals are really fun to work and play with. The work itself involved taking care of the animals and varied work around the farm such as creating canals and painting the pool. Thank you again for welcoming me into your home and lifestyle, I hope to return!

What a wonderful expérience! I make this lovely place my home for a while, i tried to take care of everything as much as i can, because i felt grateful been there... i felt in love, in every way. i am very thankful with the universe for let me know amazing people like Alex and Greg, and everyone around. I formed strong bonds with incredible people. I enjoyed every conversation, there's no bad memories, only laughts. I loved the sun, the beach, the nature around, the village, making hugs to Nooza and Benson, trying the tasty meals of Greg, laughting with Alex's twisted and greatest sense of humour, chatting and hanging with the collegues ... I only have good memories! and i am excited to get back, because i felt free and apreciated..i felt like finally can be myself. thanks so much and see you very soon!!

I stayed with Nikki, Camilo & Esme from 4th - 26th December 2025 and was welcomed with open arms into their home & family. I slept in a tent for the duration of my stay as family were staying in the Cabaña, I was always comfortable and was provided with a mattresses, duvet & extra blankets so I was warm & cozy (which I was). The work consisted of mainly helping out on their land with clearing a route down to the river, chopping up fire wood (the first time I’ve ever used a chain saw!), digging a pit for a social area with ping pong table and building some shelves for Camilo’s mushroom growing venture. I always felt like I knew what I needed to do and Camilo guided me on how to use tools I’d never used before. During my stay we did multiple trips to the city of Coyhaique (about 1.5 hours away) for shopping, to visit friends of Nikki & Camilo & to go for a few drinks. It was quite a busy house during my stay as 2 members of Nikki’s family were visiting for Christmas as well as 2 other Workawayers. Unfortunately the weather didn’t help sometimes (lots of wind & rain) so it was a little crowded at times but I understand this was unusual circumstances due to the weather and whenever we could, we’d be out at the ping pong table! I really enjoyed my time here & would recommend this Workaway to anyone who is comfortable with living an outdoor life and helping with all sorts of jobs. Lastly, thank you to Nikki for teaching me how to make bread, Camilo for always being keen to drink a beer with me & Esme for keeping my hair nicely brushed throughout my stay.

I stayed two weeks at Diego's house. It was a great time! Thank you🫶 The place is very calm, the pure nature is around you and you can enjoy an amazing time there with walking to Santa Ana and the beach, soak up the sun, eating delicious food, have nice talks with Diego, meeting friends and family of Diego, etc. To spend this 2 weeks with Diego was a plessure. We had nice talks and delicious food and with Diego you can laugh a lot😁 I felt always very comfortable. Also at work, we were 3 persons in total, we had a lot of fun. It is hard working but also very satisfactory to see how the project is developing. I can really recommending Diego as a great host, the nice work and also the place around if you love nature, calm and time to contemplate and also like to be part of a beautiful constructing project🏡.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Douglas and Simone. From day one, we felt so welcome and were drawn into the wonderful family life and all the special parties we attended with friends. The weather certainly wasn't always on our side, but despite that, we had two wonderful months. We stayed in the caravan and also loved spending our evenings in the beautiful yurt with its wood stove. The food is fantastic, the rhythm is wonderful, the work is varied, the free time is plenty, the sea and mountains are just around the corner, and they have two wonderful kids to hang out with. Simply the best Workaway place we've ever had, period. Thanks for a wonderful time guys. Muchos loveeeeeee

Kine is a very kind and friendly girl, she was good company and a great help with my two cats. Our cohoperation went very smooth and my cats litteraly loved her...

I enjoyed the experience hosting Katleen and James. They provided important help in our proyect and enjoy the forest and living in the middle of nature and silence please. Juanito, Maria and my mom are missing you! Hope to see you coming back in Guatemala to see the trees that you have planted. Wishing you all the best in other places!

Robert was a great asset to my project and is also a wonderful person. He's one of those people who aren't just interested in fleeting, maximum fun during a Workaway stay. Robert has more depth and is genuinely interested in the projects and people he chooses to work with. His intentions and work ethic are just as authentic, honest, and qualified. He's a fantastic worker! Everything he created in my forest garden stood out for its excellent structure, clarity, and perfect craftsmanship and technical execution. He was also always punctual and reliable, and he provided invaluable support to my project as a driver for errands. Robert is also perfectly suited to taking on responsibility and thus the role of foreman, which he demonstrated many times here. He's one of those people you'd want to keep in your heart and in your life. Robert war eine große Berreicherung für mein Projekt und ist auch als Mensch große Klasse. Er ist einer der Menschen, die nicht nur an kurzweiliger, größtmöglichster Bespaßung bei einem workaway Aufenthalt interessiert sind. Robert hat mehr Tiefgang und ist ernsthaft an den Projekten und Menschen interessiert, für die er sich entscheidet. Und genauso authentisch, ehrlich und qualifiziert sind auch seine Absichten und seine Arbeitsweise. Er ist ein großartiger Arbeiter! Alles was er im Waldgarten bei mir geschaffen hat, fiel durch besonders gute Struktur und besondere Klarheit und perfekte handwerkliche und technische Umsetzung auf. Außerdem war er immer pünktlich und zuverlässig und hat mein Projekt auch als Fahrer für Besorgungsfahrten großartig unterstützt. Robert ist auch bestens geeignet, Verantwortung zu übernehmen und damit die Funktion als Vorarbeiter, was er oftmals hier bewiesen hat. Er ist einer der Menschen, die man gerne in seinem Herzen und in seinem Leben behält.

It was an awesome month with Falco's family. I felt (and still feel) like a member of their family almost immediately. Their dogs and birds are so friendly and I especially loved walks with them to the forest every day. Also Linda has amazing cooking skills and her Taco salad is unbelievable. Thank you again for a wonderful month and hope I will someday come again.

We had the chance to spend an amazing time with Jennifer and Anthony on the island ! From the first minute we felt welcomed. Jennifer and Anthony are both really lovely and made sure we had enough time to wonder around the island, and to go explore Brisbane and Stradbroke island, witch was fantastique ! The work was mainly gardening, giving a hand here and there, and we enjoy cooking vegetarian dinner for them to discover. Thank you again Jennifer and Anthony ! we wish you the best with the house .

Wonderful couple, kind, willing, and hardworking with respect for the property, the animals and me. We laughed a lot and had a lovely time. I was very happy to meet you, Étienne and Ines. You will always be welcome here

Describing this place will probably be a little difficult, but I'll try. The first few weeks I was alone with Dalina, her husband, and Juju. I really enjoyed those weeks with the kids running around. When camp started and the other volunteers began to arrive, I felt even better. The experience became more fun and full of routines and games (and more meetings than I'd ever had, haha). But I enjoyed it. It's a place I definitely want to return to. Thanks for the experience, and see you soon!

Natalia was an absolutely wonderful volunteer and a true gift to our family and community. From the very beginning, she showed great commitment, responsibility, and genuine care, especially with the children. She actively participated in our children’s art and dance programs, bringing creativity, patience, and joy into every activity. The children connected with her immediately and were always happy and motivated to learn and play with her. In addition to working with the children, Natalia designed the website for our foundation, helping us structure the content, improve the layout, and fix different sections to make it clearer and more functional. Her computer skills and attention to detail were extremely helpful, and her work on the website will continue to benefit our project in the long term. She also taught computer skills, organized fun and educational games, and always adapted her activities to the children’s needs. Natalia communicated clearly, respected all house rules, and worked with a positive and respectful attitude throughout her stay. Beyond her contributions, she truly became part of our family. Her kindness, warmth, and openness created a meaningful cultural exchange that we will always remember. We are deeply grateful for the time we shared with her and highly recommend Natalia to any host looking for a creative, caring, and dedicated volunteer.

Joana and Daniel have been the best people I’ve met in 2025 at the start of this travel. Spending time with them is always a pleasure — conversations are easy, smooth, and very interesting. The work is clearly explained, and you can manage your schedule independently, in your own way. They give great advice about activities to do nearby and about traveling in Tasmania in general. The place is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful, while still being close to public transport, which makes it easy to get around. The bus offers a very comfortable private space, and you never lack anything. I 100% recommend this Workaway and would be very happy to come back!

I had an amazing experience during my 3-week stay at the farm. Belal, Nour, and Ashmawy were extremely helpful from the very start, and communication between us was always open. It felt more like talking to a friend and helping them out more than to an employer. The farm has a magic that attracts people who are kind, intellectual, open-minded, and with a similar worldview. I have met so many amazing people who were guests and friends and I have learned so much from them about the world, society, and Islam. One of my reasons to visit Egypt is to learn the Egyptian dialect of Arabic and everyone there was very helpful and enthusiastic about it. I have learned so much and had so much fun forming new sentences and making funny mistakes. The farm’s story is also very inspiring, with the contribution of so many volunteers before, and is only possible with incredible determination, but the story can only be fully told and felt through Belal’s emotional delivery. I had the opportunity to mainly work on weeding the olive trees, which allowed me to have a huge amount of peace and time to think while working, and helped with cleaning and feeding the horses. I went on one climbing expedition along with the guests, Belal and Ashmawy, where I was able to climb and learn how to belay. I was also able to try horse riding with the help of Mohamed and another volunteer at the farm. I had some absolutely amazing food during my stay and a fantastic first impression of Egyptian food, all thanks to Nour. I was also able to learn how to make some simple dishes myself and sometimes help in the kitchen to prepare food for the guests. I really enjoyed every moment at the farm; it was so free and peaceful. I am also really grateful for everyone I have met and talked to at the farm, and I will definitely come back in the future.
