    Description

We offer you a community living experience. With animals as the main source of daily joy, we are humans in service to animals. We are holistic therapists who have chosen to live surrounded by nature to provide a high quality of life for the animals we have rescued. We are accompanied by 158 rescued farm animals: donkeys, goats, sheep, ponies, llamas, alpacas, chickens, dogs, and some exotic birds. We are inspired by spiritual development, environmental stewardship, respect for all life, and connection with world cultures. What we love about this space is the contact with nature, being away from the city, connecting daily with the animals and their behavior. We enjoy life's simple pleasures, like baking bread in a clay oven and listening to good music, consciously observing the behavior of these animals who live with us. This is a place where you can share with your family, learn to connect with the essence of natural life, watch the sunset, admire the stars, and have conversations about personal growth. We are humans striving to evolve day by day. The roles of each member of the household allow us to maintain this space, which comprises a field with walnut trees, a small elm grove, the stable, the chicken coop, the cabin for volunteers and visitors, and the main house where we share pleasant moments. A veterinarian visits the animals every month. We strive daily to maintain harmony. We would be delighted to welcome you to our home, where the primary focus is on continuous spiritual growth and contributing to the world with a small act of awareness. What matters most to us is that if you choose this place for any reason, it is with a heartfelt commitment to our animals and to growing this global socio-cultural network. Our animals await you to become part of our conscious community.

We look forward to welcoming you!

We have been in this rural area for more than 14 years and during this time we have contributed to this place by planting native and fruit trees that now require care such as watering and sometimes pruning. We are open to the world so that people can learn about a way of living in community with animal awareness, surrounded by animals, music and an evolutionary path. We offer you the opportunity to be part of our global family, a support network for growth. On Saturdays, there is a local market where fruit and vegetables from the area are sold. In this house, conscious activities promote growth, and all are carried out in a friendly, family atmosphere. We hope to expand our soul family, to nurture ourselves and contribute to those who want an experience where animals are the protagonists, humans at the service of animals in a natural and rural environment. Come and join us!

What we need most is your help caring for our animals.

The day begins by feeding the animals living in the stable and grooming the horses and donkeys. We also feed the chickens before starting the rest of the morning tasks.

After breakfast, the animals are released into the fields and we clean the stable. The chickens are released at 11:00 a.m. Most of our animals are rescues, and their well-being is our highest priority.

Every day we make sure they have constant access to fresh water, both in the fields and in the stable. Before bringing them back inside in the evening, the stable should be clean and prepared with food for the night. The chickens also need fresh food and water before they return to their coop.

Another important daily task is raking leaves in different areas of the sanctuary to keep the environment clean and healthy. We also maintain common areas, keep the forest free of litter, and make sure all spaces are safe for the animals.

Once a week we do a deep cleaning of both the chicken coop and the stable.

One of the most important parts of volunteering here is spending time observing the animals. By getting to know them and noticing changes in their behavior, we can often detect health issues early and provide better care.

During the summer, watering the trees becomes an essential task. We use water from an irrigation canal, and keeping the trees healthy helps provide food for our 190 walnut trees.

During harvest season, from February to May, we collect fruit, dry it in the sun, and prepare it for storage.

We would also greatly appreciate help with our social media. As an animal sanctuary, keeping our Instagram active helps us reach more people and receive support that directly benefits the animals. If you enjoy creating content, taking photos, filming reels, stories, or helping with social media, your contribution would be incredibly valuable.

Life at the sanctuary is not only about work.

There is time to rest, connect with nature, and enjoy simple moments together. We often light the traditional clay oven, share meals, and during hot summer days enjoy time in the swimming pool. These moments are an important part of life here.

In summer, we start the day with breakfast at 8:00 a.m. During autumn and winter, breakfast is at 9:00 a.m.

Volunteer activities generally continue until around 1:30 p.m., followed by lunch. Occasionally there may be additional tasks to complete, but most afternoons are free for rest, personal projects, or simply spending time observing and connecting with the animals.

What brings us the most joy is commitment, kindness, and genuine care for the sanctuary and its residents. It is a non-profit animal sanctuary, and every helping hand makes a difference.

If this sounds like something that resonates with you, please get in touch.
"We believe that caring for animals begins with changing the way we relate to them. Here, animals are not attractions, resources, or tools—they are individuals with their own stories, personalities, and right to live in peace."

We would love to welcome you.

We have a volunteer cabin with shared accommodation. The cabin has three large beds and two smaller beds, distributed across three separate sleeping areas.

There is a shared bathroom and shower, and we kindly ask everyone to use water consciously and responsibly, as it is a valuable resource for us. During the summer, there is also an outdoor shower available in the field.

We provide two meals per day, and the third meal can be shared and prepared together if desired.

There is also space for camping in our forest area. While we do not provide tents, we do have sleeping bags and blankets available. It is a peaceful, comfortable, and pleasant place to stay close to nature.

If you bring your own laundry detergent, you are welcome to wash your clothes here.

We aim to offer a simple, welcoming environment where volunteers can feel at home while contributing to the care of the animals and the sanctuary.

    What else ...

Coming to our home means being in a place where you'll feel like part of the family, with simple yet meaningful activities, such as tending our family garden, grooming the horse, collecting eggs from the henhouse, maintaining the animals' resting areas, and harvesting nuts. We're 50 minutes from the beach, on the central coast, and close to the mountains since this is a valley. Public transportation is available from a Santiago metro station in Chile. The metro arrives in the village, and from there you can take a bus that will drop you off just steps from our house in 15 minutes. Public transportation is a bit slow on weekends, as it's a rural area. We're 60 minutes from Santiago, the main city of Chile, so if you want to go out, it's best to leave on Saturday and return on Monday to make transportation more frequent. You can go to the capital, the mountains, or the Chilean coast. Our food is healthy and nutritious, and we live with many animals, most of them rescued. We are mindful of all forms of life, including water and electricity. For us, it's a privilege to see the stars at night and hear the birds singing. We'd be happy if you decided to spend some time with us.
