Description
I am Paulina, a traveller, psychologist and I live in Viña del Mar (about 15 minutes from the main square, 1 block away from public transit).
I have used workaway as a traveller in America and Europe, and I believe it's an excellent opportunity to meet interesting people and have a cultural exchange, helping each other.
The house is a two story building near Viña's botanical garden with flowers and a small forest, the city of Viña del Mar where you can find a beautiful beach and lots of things to do, and Valparaiso which is an interesting place with old markets and good nightlife.
Mainly your tasks will be everyday chores like cleaning, basic bricolage, water the plants, basically house keeping, just general maintenance.
As I've been a workaway myself, I know comfort and privacy is very important so you'll have your own room with a nice queen size bed with fresh linen and a shared bathroom, and you can use the kitchen and common spaces at your leisure.
We ask our workawayers for 15 hours / week (5 days a week, 3 hours per day).Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Here you can learn Spanish and English, enjoy nature in a beautiful botanical garden that's 20 minutes of walking distance, enjoy the different beaches and seafood that can be found in our shores, learn about chilean cuisine, do trekking, and see the sights of the hills of Valparaiso, the Sand Dunes of Concon and go to the concerts and many cultural events.
Help
MAINLY PET SITTING, taking care of our two little shih tzu dogs. Playing with them, feeding them and going for walks with them. If there's any extra time left, you can always help around the house just making the house a cozy and comfortable place.
The help is just 3 hours 5 days a week, and it doesn't include food. If I cook we can share but normally I don't so I can't guarantee food for workayers, but I'd love to share meals and recipes with you if the opporunity arises. There is a fully equiped kitchen and appliances that you can use freely.
Normally we'll schedule the working hours together if you want to do something at specific times, I'm flexible about it because I know you are here to know the area and there's always something interesting going on, my only concern it's the well-being of the dogs.Languages
