Description
*Urgently looking for team members to work with us over the Christmas holiday*
December 18th - 29th
We run a beautiful gay guesthouse located in the Languedoc region of the south of France.
We are 30 minutes from beaches and 50 minutes from popular Montpellier. We're looking for someone who is outgoing, open minded and looking to help out with our summer season. You'll be working as part of a 5-man team (2 owners and 3 helpers) - and will be housed just around the corner from the guesthouse.
A typical week here for our guests include drinks around the pool, kayaking tours, beach days, visiting wineries and exploring the many villages surrounding us.
Duties include mainly guest interaction. These will be shared with a second helper and will be roughly 25 hours per week spread over 4 days. You will have 3 full days off and we try to arrange that they are consecutive so that you can explore the region. In exchange you will live in an apartment shared with the owners (now and then) and another helpers. You will also receive a weekly allowance for food.
We also offer minimum wage.

It is a very family atmosphere with plenty of social interaction both at the guesthouse and on trips to the surrounding countryside and coast. You will also be able to learn a great deal about the local area and its culture. This is a stunning part of the world, very natrual and varied, with wine and tourism a focus in the summer season. You will have plenty of time off to explore and discover the Languedoc. You don't need to speak French. You may well need to purchase items and run errands.

Help
We are looking for someone to help in our gay guesthouse with house keeping, cleaning the garden, helping us set up dinners and parties, manning the bar. We are a small friendly team and are all very hands on to get what needs to be done, quickly and efficiently while ensuring our guests have the best possible holiday experience.
This is a paid position and as such you will receive the current French minimum wage for the hours worked.

Accommodation
A room in a 4-bedroom house in the village. You will have your own room. There is also a living room (with wide-screen TV and Netflix), and shared kitchen and bathroom. You will also have access to the guesthouse facilities.

We are 30 minutes from great beaches, and surrounded by wine-making villages. Lots to see and do - plenty of historic sightseeing, fun towns and villages, great and affordable food, kayaking, biking, walks, windsurfing etc.
We also offer minimum wage.

The accommodation offered has excellent WiFi and quiet space for those that need to work outside of their work schedule with us. We have hosted many 'nomadic' workers and this has worked very well in the past.
