Nina and Aude were one of the most responsible and committed workawayeres that we ever had. Since their first arrival they showed an impressive professionalism, even that they showed on Saturday they learn all the duties and set the bar really high. We cannot be more than happy for having them and sad that they have to leave. We can only wish them a very nice trip and luck in their studies as a future doctors that we truly believe that's a goal that they will achieve. Let the light of the universe guide your way guys and we hope we can meet in the future where life chooses.

As my first workaway, this was the best experience. I stayed with Nischal, his sister and parents for two weeks. It wasn't during peak season so I didn't need to help with gardening very much and instead Sundar was like my personal tour guide. He would take me to see so many cool sights and Sita would take me out with her friends, eve though I couldn't understand much at all. The family really fully embraces you, teaches you about their recipes and culture and wants to know so much about yours. The location is fantastic and the accommodations are good too. I realize I had it easy but even if there had been more responsibilities for me to handle, I think it would have been great because the family is wonderful and there was so much free time anyway.

Workaway at Christine and Tony's place is the very definition of 'home away from home'. My first workaway could not have started any better than this. The open arm welcome from this kind couple made me feel like part of the family from very beginning. Furthermore the wooden house with its generous space and amenities left any room to desire for more. Thus made my stay very comfortable and pleasurable. I really enjoyed taking care of the friendly dogs, petting the cats and specially chopping up trees with machete and chainsaw. Christine's funny stories coupled with Tony's humor which is at times as dry and twisted as the prehistoric river of the Xert kept me entrained throughout my stay. The place itself is in very tranquil location surrounded by the beautiful olive and almond farms with the view of green and rocky hills. This makes it ideal place for walking, hiking and cycling. I am very humbled and grateful to Christine and Tony for this opportunity. I hope to see each other in future again. I highly recommend this to place anyone who wants to enjoy laid back village life. Best regards! devraj (the gorkha bodyguard)

Arianna’s time with us at the Centre has been truly special, and we feel incredibly grateful for everything she shared with our community. From the very beginning, she brought warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine care that touched both our team and our young members. Her kindness and positive energy created a welcoming atmosphere where everyone felt encouraged, supported, and valued. She contributed greatly to our educational activities, helping with English and Spanish learning through workshops, grammar materials, and videos for our self-study program. These resources will continue to support many students in the future. Beyond the teaching itself, Arianna also helped coordinate and follow up on different tasks within the program, making sure things moved forward smoothly and helping our team manage the daily work more easily. What made her presence especially meaningful was the affection and dedication she showed to everyone around her. She connected naturally with our members, sharing laughter, encouragement, and many beautiful moments that will be remembered for a long time. On a personal level, Arianna quickly became much more than a volunteer; she became a dear friend to our community. We feel very lucky to have met her, and we are already looking forward to welcoming her back soon. Her presence has left a lasting mark , and we cannot wait to continue sharing this journey together.

I had a great two weeks working with Etienne and one other volunteer. It was the end of peak season so the work was very manageable. I probably worked maximum 3 hours (roughly 11-2) each day and was given an allowance each week for buying breakfast groceries. I also had a private bunk in the back that was great. The work of cleaning bathrooms and changing beds was super straightforward and simple. It was nice to interact with guests when possible as well, but Etienne loves to chat and has lots of knowledge about Pucón, surrounding areas, and Chile as a whole to share. The location is incredible and there's plenty of time to spend exploring after work. communication was clear and kind. I really enjoyed this experience!

Eliot volunteered with us supporting our education program, and it was a very positive experience for our whole community. During his stay, he helped lead Spanish and English grammar and conversation classes, giving our students the valuable opportunity to practice with a native English speaker and strengthening their confidence in the language. He also created useful grammar materials and videos for our self-study program, resources that will continue benefiting many students in the future. In addition to his teaching work, Eliot actively participated in our dance classes and community activities, which was greatly appreciated by both teachers and members. Eliot was respectful, kind, and very easy to live and work with. We are grateful for the time he spent with us and for the contribution he made to our project. Thanks a lot Eliot!. We hope to see you again with us soon!

During their stay, Öykü and Eren quickly learned to manage the aviary and orchard. They gradually took over all our tasks, and within two months, we trusted them to care for the property while we travelled. They maintained the parrots and facilities to a high standard, and the trees and plants thrived under their attention. Both are confident and modest, and, what's more, excellent cooks!

Heather was a wonderful volunteer and a very kind person to have in our community. From the beginning she showed a strong willingness to help and support our students. Her knowledge of wildlife and guiding was extremely valuable to us, and she generously shared her experience with the students. During her time here, she helped prepare lessons and taught several topics related to guiding and wildlife. The students really enjoyed learning from her and gained a lot of new knowledge and confidence. She was very dedicated, especially when it came to teaching, and always put effort into making sure the students understood the lessons. Heather was also friendly, respectful, and easy to live and work with. She became part of our community very quickly and everyone enjoyed spending time with her during birding trips and daily activities. We truly appreciate the time she spent with us and the positive impact she had on our students. She will always be welcome back, and we highly recommend her to any host.

The hosts are great -- very friendly and welcoming. They always try match people with tasks they are best able to do, and are accommodating of people who want to make trips to nearby places like Dubrovnik and Kotor; they're also chill about leaving when they feel they need to (if you're aiming for a good vibe and community, the last thing you want is people who don't want to be there). They love to learn about other cultures and countries and experiences. The location is very scenic and peaceful. It *is* a bit distant from Herceg Novi (about forty minutes by car), so you won't be walking there, though cyclists who don't mind mountains may find it bikeable. However, you can hitch a ride with the hosts when they go into town for shopping or errands. Beds are good, there is heating when needed (I was there in spring, so some days yes, some days no), and Nani is a good cook (and happy to make vegetarian food).

How to describe Becky.. She is a radiant light who is very mindful, centered and present, in all her interactions, and has a compassion driven mindset to co-create a better world. She is very hard working, truly wants to contribute with her energy, practices active listening and works and lives in gratitude. She is a very special soul indeed and it was truly an honor and pleasure to receive her love and light where she worked with other volunteers and community member. PS she truly understands the value of inner practicing of centering and peace, to invite same outwardly...committed to joining in Yoga and mediation every morning, as well as mindfulness observed in her interactions throughout the day. Today was her last day, and we already miss her! Wish her well always ! Namasté 🙏🏽

I stayed in this little paradise for six weeks, two more than originally planned, and I would honestly have stayed longer had I not booked with other hosts afterwards. This was my first experience as a Workaway volunteer, and I cannot even begin to list everything I learnt here. From working with trees to attending meditation sessions, I gained a wealth of experience and knowledge. Pujari and Luisa were both very kind and loving towards me, and I am very grateful for all their support, appreciation and trust. I promised them I would come back soon, and I really will (maybe even for longer this time!).

" part of family " In fact, you will not find a family as kind and hospitable anywhere in the world, They treated me like a member of the family and now I have a new home and family in Sri Lanka. I was more comfortable in their home than in my own and I never felt like a stranger . Dear Monti, my dear parents, I kiss your hands and thank you for all the kindness and help you have given me. I hope I can come back to Sri Lanka and see you again . Your son majid ( Michael )

Our workaway with Ana and Monique felt nothing like work at all and we made two new friends for life. First of all the house is such a beautiful colourful creative space that it was impossible not to feel inspired, our room was really nice and was clean and comfy so we immediately felt at home. One of the most magical parts of our stay was eating breakfast in the mornings when the monkeys would come and get their daily bananas. The work that they had us do was flexible and mostly consisted of painting walls on the property to give it a refresh, Ana and Monique were relaxed about when we completed the work for example whether we wanted to work in the morning or afternoon, they also had great recommendations for local beaches and even spent our last day with us and took us to a waterfall which was a beautiful way to end our stay. A week with them did not feel long enough and we were so sad to leave, and we would go back in a heartbeat. Ana and Monique are extremely warm hosts, we shared stories over meals and went on a trip on the last day to a waterfall - a memory we will forever cherish. We still talk a lot about our stay here and wish to come back one day. Sending so much love to both Ana and Monique. We recommend them highly.

I spent a wonderful 4 weeks being taught all the bird and exploring the local area. I spent my time preparing lessons for the guiding students and delivering lessons on a variety of topics. I was welcomed warmly and felt right at home. I enjoyed the weekly birding outing and the many people excited to take me around the area. I love passing on my knowledge of guiding and also learning from the students about the wildlife and culture of Tanzania. The food was amazing and I loved being there in mango season. Thank you for my time with you, I highly recommend to anyone thinking of joining.

Hannah & Felician stayed her for about two weeks. The plan was longer but they unfortunately had to go home earlier. That was very sad news to hear. I have had at least 1000 workawayers and wwoofs at my property for the last 25 years. Hannah & Felician jumped right out of them all. Very nice people, very friendly, very tidy, the had a good feeling of responsibility. Before they had to leave they tried their very best to finish the paint job they were doing to not leave me with a half finished job. I appreciated that a lot. Very considerative of them with a great sense of responsibility. Overall I can recommend them to anybody and wouldn't mind if they come back one day. Thanks a lot for everything Hannah & Felician!

I loved with all of my heart staying in this beautiful hostel in the lush nature of Mindo! Isa, her mum and the other workers are absolutely kind and friendly. The company of the cat Coco was definitely a plus to my stay there, he was my assistant! :) The work at the reception was very easy and relaxed, and communication was good anytime I had a question about anything. The hostel is very clean, cozy and has everything you need. In my free time I could go for long walks in the nature or for a lunch in town and it was amazing. I made a lot of new good friends there too. Thank you so much for having me there and I really hope I'll come again to Mindo and that I'll be able to stay longer in your beautiful hostel! Hasta luego!

I had a wonderful experience with Carolina and Federico. They are welcoming, kind people who take the time to get to know you. I enjoyed taking care of the animals and the olive trees during the day and sharing meals with the family every evening. Carolina showed me around the center of Viterbo, a city full of history and charm, and Federico recommended places for me to visit when I went to Rome. Thank you for everything!
