I was at Maria's for 4 days! It was a bit of a "Last minute cal" so I'm glad she opened the doors of her house for me! Her pets, Kitty and Tiggy were so cute, even if we didn't have enough time to connect! We didn't have time to know each other. But I was so grateful to had the chance to be there when I need it. All the best. Lydia

I was at Kat's house for a month! It was a "Last minute call" as my previous workaway experience didn't work well. I was so thankful that she opened the doors of her house for me, even though she had other workawayers at the time and didn't have enough room for me in the house. I didn't care as I got the campervan parked outside the house as my private space. The work was easy and relax and the relationship with the others workawayers was great! We made beautiful connections between us! I was trilled to help her in the Cabaret, as I love theatre. I was also involved with some circus event while she was away! Her kids are so cute and very well behaved. I highly recommended, asa they are really nice people! Thanks for having me Kat!! Big big big hug!!

We loved having Rui join our team for 4 months and would welcome him back in a heartbeat. He was a valuable member of our cleaning team and also managed to work 3 other jobs along side his work work with us. Rui has so much energy and was fun to have around. All the best for the next adventure Rui!!

Pora: This was the perfect workaway experience for us. Right on the ocean, immersed in nature, and a very clear and fair exchange of work for accommodations. What really brought it over the top for us were the people we met. Alex and Maria are incredible people and we became close friends with them, the other volunteers, and so many of the international guests. We even had the experience of three different turtle nests hatching right at their eco village, seeing multiple whales and some of the most incredible sunrises and sunsets. It was truly difficult for us to leave as it felt like leaving our newfound family behind. We would recommend this workaway to anyone with an open mind, kind heart, and desire to help a family with their incredible passion project. We can’t wait to visit in the future!

Megan stayed with us for 9 months as our au pair, and she was absolutely wonderful. She is calm, responsible, mature, creative, and very practical — truly a joy to have in our daily life. She brought so much presence, reliability and warmth into our home. You could really feel that she cared deeply, and she was someone we could trust completely. Megan is one of those rare people you can rely on with your eyes closed. Having her with us was a gift, and she will be deeply missed by all of us. You would be very lucky to have her :)

Magdaléna and Darja spent three weeks in our guesthouse, and it was a real pleasure to have them with us. They helped set up and serve breakfast for our guests, assisted our kitchen staff, and also served lunch and dinner. Throughout their stay, they were serious, dependable, proactive, polite, and flexible. Most of all, I appreciated their kindness, positive attitude, and the beaming smiles they shared every day with both our staff and our guests. I highly recommend them. Magdaléna and Darja, thank you—and please remember that you are always welcome to visit us again.

Hi, I was hosted by Noam and Tehilla in their small community near Maale Michmash. for two weeks. The weather was very hot (35 degrees) and I was most often working in the heat of the day. It was mostly cleaning up dishes and tables, sweeping, and sometimes cleaning up tents and/or rooms, toilets and showers, etc , after people stayed the night. I was accommodated in a tent in which you can stand up and feels more like a small house. It was close to the main house and had its own outside toilet. The shower in the downstairs room(Noam's music room, not the main marquis) was available for showering because the visitor's shower was broken at this time. I was made to feel very welcome in their home with Daniel, Maya and Adam , also, where I ate my meals and was included in shabbat celebrations. Towards the end of my visit Tehilla took me to the Israel baptismal site in the Jordan river and then on to Jerusalem where we did some sifting of material from the temple mount. I very much appreciated this as they were two visits I had very much wanted to make in Israel before I left. It was lovely to twice meet Tehilla's Mum also who lives in Jerusalem. This stay with Noam and Tehilla was the highlight of my visit to Israel. Thank you so much for having me! With love from Josie

Henrique, Lucia, Jose, Lucas, and Gi were all great. They were all respectful and kind. Felt like family for the 2 weeks I was here. The work was pleasant and their home and the surrounding area are very nice too. Lucia is an amazing cook, and Jose a very hard worker. Chatting with Henrique or the boys was always enjoyable too. My work consisted of garden work, mixing and laying concrete, cleaning the house, and walking the dogs. I only wish I had more time here to help finish all the unfinished projects haha. :)

Irene came to us for almost 6 weeks in December 2025. She travelled without her friend, who was travelling separately in Mexico. Irene is such a kind, fun and creative person. She bonded with Disco very well, and was so easy to have around. Irene enjoyed coming to different Improv shows with us and was very open to trying new things and being flexible. She was easy to communicate with - her English improved a lot. She had to house sit when we were in Oz for 4 weeks and she was very communicative, sending us pictures of Disco and daily updates. It was a pleasure to have Irene come stay with us - she provided us. with great peace of mind when we were in Oz. She also cooked some great Taiwanese dishes for us and brought some yummy tea for us to try. We wish her all the best on her next adventure!

I had a great time staying together with Jo, Jürgen and their sweet little boy. They are kind, open minded people and I felt welcomed from the very beginning. I enjoyed having meals together with them - loved that Jo was always preparing fresh and healthy food :) - I also got to meet Jürgen's parents so that it was an overall beautiful cultural experience. I helped them right in the beginning during the renovation process and even though it was a busy time, they always made sure that I had plenty of free time to enjoy the mountains and be outdoors. Thank you for having me, I'm sure I'll come back to visit you :)

Thank you, Pelin. Despite the language barrier with Egla, it wasn't an obstacle. Always with your smile and your positive attitude, you were a super hard worker and managed to beautify our surroundings in the short time you were with us. You made a real impact on our home. Always grateful, safe travel. Jorge and Egla.

Naoki was a wonderful volunteer to have at the hotel. We truly appreciate his time, dedication, and the fresh approach he brought to teaching English to our staff. His students were very happy learning with him. They not only improved their English, but also genuinely enjoyed every class, discovering how fun learning can be through singing, games, and dynamic activities. His classes were engaging, relaxed, and motivating. Naoki is kind, fun, respectful, and very committed to his role as an English teacher. He adapted easily to the environment, showed great responsibility, and connected naturally with the team. We were very happy to host him and would welcome him back with open arms whenever he wishes to return. We cannot recommend Naoki enough. If you are looking for a responsible, adaptable, and charismatic volunteer, do not hesitate to contact him. Safe travels, Nao! Ammy

It was one of the best experiences of my life. I got to stay in the coolest neighborhood in Istanbul and made great friends. The volunteering itself is super fun and the house is beautiful. I am very thankful for the opportunity of being here and looking forward to coming back. Enjoy the great city, cute cats, and awesome culture.

Charles stayed with me for a week. He came to help me in my difficult garden. He was very willing to try and complete tasks I asked him to do. He managed to trim my hedge which now looks tidy once again. Also accomplished mowing my law.ns,trimming flax bushes ,moving green matter to the wetlands toform compost. Charles interacted well with the hens and ducks free ranging around my garden. He felt comfortable asking for help with the correct Englisj words to use when speaking to me. He had opportunities to take part doing tourist activities which appealed to him such as climbing Mount Taranaki for 2 days. I hope he enjoys the rest of time in New Zealand and recommend him as a pleasant quest to join your family. Thank you Charles for your help. Grace

I spent 3 weeks in this place and I honestly regret that it was such a short time. This experience exceeded all my expectations ❤️ Every day there you can take different workshops, activities and classes with children: drawing, singing, dancing, creative activities, spending time with horses and much more. The place is very well equipped and gives a lot of space and freedom to create, explore ideas and be creative. What was especially meaningful for me was learning how to build connection and real bonds with people even without sharing a common language. It teaches so much about empathy, presence and non-verbal communication, truly an amazing experience. The whole place is full of warmth, support and positive energy. I met so many wonderful people, everyone was incredibly kind, open and supportive. I felt very welcomed and taken care of from the very first day. I truly hope I will come back one day. This was an absolutely suuuper experience and I can recommend it with all my heart. It is truly a place with a strong mission, and being able to experience and be part of it is something really beautiful and meaningful. ❤️✨
