About Us and Our Project
Welcome to our English-speaking club in Kadiköy, Istanbul! We are a new and exciting language and cultural exchange center where local people come to improve their English in a fun, relaxed, and friendly environment. It's not a traditional school — there's no strict curriculum. Instead, our goal is to create a space where people can practice speaking English through real conversations, games, and cultural exchange with fluent English speakers from around the world. We're looking for volunteers who are confident in English — you don’t need to be a certified teacher (though that’s a bonus).
Why You’ll Love It Here
Our location in Kadiköy is one of the liveliest areas in Istanbul — full of cafes, restaurants, art, music, and nightlife. The metro and public transport are very close, making it easy to explore the rest of this amazing city. You'll also have the chance to connect with friendly Turkish locals who are eager to share their culture, help you get around, and maybe even join you on some fun trips or local experiences.
Who We Are
We are a small team of local staff and passionate language lovers who truly enjoy meeting new people from around the world. Everyone here is welcoming, open-minded, and excited about sharing knowledge, stories, and culture. Our environment is respectful, inclusive, and built on mutual support and fun.Types of help and learning opportunities

At our new English Speaking Club in Istanbul, volunteers will experience a true cultural exchange. You'll be surrounded by friendly, positive people in a vibrant and healthy environment. We’ll share traditional Turkish meals, explore the city together, and host fun workshops and activities that connect you with local culture and community.
You'll make real friendships, learn about Turkish life, and help others practice English while sharing your own culture too. We believe in mutual growth — and we can’t wait to learn from you as much as you’ll learn from us!Projects involving children

Help
We are looking for open-minded, friendly, and communicative volunteers who speak English fluently and are excited to share their language and culture with others. You do not need to be a native English speaker — what’s most important is that you have a strong level of English, especially in speaking and understanding, so you can help our learners practice real, everyday conversation.
Our project is all about helping Turkish learners improve their spoken English in a relaxed, fun, and supportive environment. You will join casual speaking sessions, games, group discussions, or workshops — not as a formal teacher, but as a conversation partner who can guide, correct gently, and encourage learners to speak confidently.
Your role is to bring your voice, your ideas, your stories — and to help create a positive atmosphere for cultural exchange. You’ll also have the chance to learn about Turkish culture, language, and daily life, and to share your own experiences with local people and other volunteers.
If you enjoy talking, sharing, and helping others grow through conversation, you’ll fit right in hereLanguages
