    Description

    We are a young family living in a small and charming Saxon village, in the heart of Transylvania. Because it still preserves the traditional architecture and, in many ways, the archaic way of rural life, our village is an UNESCO protected site and one of the most visited places in Romania. Its surroundings, rich in wild life and rare plant species, are great for hikes or bike rides.

    We own and run a small but beautiful guesthouse, hosting tourists from all over the world, as well as a small museum. Also, we have a large garden where we grow delicious organic vegetables.

    The work will be paid with 3 eur/h. This includes accommodation in a private room with bathroom.

    If you are interested in history, traditional rural architecture and nature, our place might be a good destination for you.

    Staying with us gives you the chance to experience life in a small village where many things are still done much as they were centuries ago. We are surrounded by beautiful nature, rich in wild plants and wildlife, with plenty of mountain biking trails to explore. As people from all over the world come through the village, there is every chance of interesting conversations, chance encounters, and unexpected friendships.

    You would also be able to visit nearby towns and cities such as Sighișoara — the medieval town where Dracula is said to have lived for a while — as well as Brașov and Sibiu.

    We are looking for someone to help with serving food to our guests and looking after our ecological garden. At the museum, we are especially interested in Workawayers who could offer guided tours in foreign languages and help supervise and facilitate activities in our creative corner — a space where we encourage visitors to relax by drawing and painting, inspired by the village.
