Genuinely meeting and living with the amazing Masai people. This was a really positive life-changing experience for me. Salome and Matthew are the warmest hosts. They make sure you feel part of the community in a very short time. The Children love to meet people from other countries. They are happy, positive, and a real pleasure to be with. If you are planning to travel through Karnataka, I highly recommend making a stay here part of your journey. The estate is beautiful and offers peaceful and unique nature. The owners are not present, but they leave you with a very kind and helpful man named Vinod. Vinod cooked all of my meals and made me feel extremely welcomed and comfortable. The coffee picking is relaxing and it is cool to participate in the process that we rely on for our morning cup. Seetha is extremely easy to communicate with and replies fast. She will be on top of anything you need!

Florian and Katharina stayed five weeks with their children on our farm. We had a great time together. Flo and Nina did their jobs like general household tasks, taking care of animals, craft work accurately and with ambition, love and creativity. This beautiful family created delicious food from any available veggies, brought in interesting ideas and we had really good conversations. We are already waiting to welcome them again.

Loane stayed six weeks with us. We had a great time together. Loane connected easily to everyone on the farm and brought sunshine even on grey days. Loane did her jobs like general household tasks, taking care of animals, craft work accurately and with ambition, love and a lot of energy. Loane was always conscious about what ever had to be done. We shared some nice leisure time activities together. We are already waiting to welcome Loane again.

Reese stayed some weeks with us. We had a great time together. Reese connected easily to everyone on the farm and brought sunshine even on grey days. She did her jobs like general household tasks, taking care of animals, craft work accurately and with ambition, love and creativity. Reese creates delicious food from any available veggies. We shared some beautiful leisure time activities together. We are already waiting to welcome Reese again.

My experience for a week with Ester was wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for a better first Workaway experience. I supported Ester with basic household tasks like cooking and cleaning, and occasionally taking care of the baby (briefly in the house, while Ester was there) so she could take care of some tasks (especially late morning and late evening). Her son is a sweet and wonderful baby! Ester is very kind, welcoming, and communicative person that really made me feel at home. All my tasks were in conversation and agreement with her. The apartment itself is in a neighbourhood which runs trains every 20 minutes or so to central Barcelona (and you’re there in 20 minutes). This is not a Workaway or a location if you’re into partying or going out late, but if you want to experience daytime Barcelona, it’s perfect. Thank you so much Ester!

They were very active, always swimming in the ocean, running, and cycling around the Izu Peninsula. Eloise helped with cleaning at our guesthouse and was a very polite and reliable worker. Leo took care of our son and daughter, and our son especially loved playing with him. Outside of work, we also spent time together socially. I taught them surfing, and Leo taught me boxing and gym training. Our family has many fond memories with them. Merci!

Aniko spent a good week with me, helping to cut down bushes, trimming the wisteria, showing me many useful things on my I-phone and computer, and even helping me to buy some outdoor gear. We had a wonderful time together - we even went for a few steep hikes, training me for an upcoming trek in the Alps. Aniko is such en energetic person, such a bright and generous character, I really felt so fortunate to get to know her and to be her host. We cooked many times together and I learned some vegan recipes from her too. I only wish her the best ever in her future job and life. And for sure we should meet again!

Lucia mainly helped with the olive harvest and became part of the team very quickly. She is curious, open-minded and confident, with a wide range of skills and a strong ability to adapt. It was a pleasure to host her, and she is welcome back anytime.

If you want to stay in a nicely secluded area and work in a goal oriented enviroment, look no further! I was here for the last month of the olive harvest and found the farm to be a nice quiet place. Mind you there is always something to do but if you don't mind getting your hands dirty you will probably have as nice a stay as i did. The work consists of around five hours a day and the days off are based on when the olives have to be harvested and or brought to the mill. Besides that the food that is available is good (cooking is shared) and the area is great for walks and the people in and around orgiva are mostly colourfull and friendly. I had a blast with chris and the dogs and will shurely be back!

The 10 days spent with Clare and Mike were very delightful - they are an enthousiastic couple, willing to give so much of their creative energy and knockledge into helping me, around the garden, but also in the house, with a few tricky jobs. We had enriching discussions under the cherrytree, during mealtime and in the evenings. Our relationship was very natural and easygoing. I admired the way they travelled on their bikes, and the enthousiasm they showed while staying at my house. Too bad that New Zealand is so far away - I would love to visit your country and spend some time with you again. So sorry for the delay for the feedback, and wishing you all the best for your future.

What a beautiful experience, to have Alex around for almost one month. Alex is an extremely positive person, very calm and really helpful. He's had such incredible good vibes, he's strong, he is patient, he knows to deal with children, cats and dogs, he helps in whatever you need him for and is present when you need him, working the garden, carrying heavy things,repairing little things in the household, installing new furniture, fetching new furniture, helping in the household and anything that he might be needed for. And over all this he's just a dear!!! Alex we allready miss you, and we'd love to have you back here one day? With the very best wishes for your future ❤️, Shakti and Alberto

I had the opportunity to workaway at Said 's place last December for 2 weeks and it was a great experience. Saif and Ismael are two very kind persons who immediately make their home feel yours and who will help you when needed. The work was easy and not big as there were not a lot of customers, I had time to walk in the dunes or read in the silent of the desert. The place is magical just next to beautiful sand dunes and the beginning of the Sahara to do some excursions... Walking to the village of M'Hamid from the camp is easy so you can be independant for going there. Staying there you will also get the chance to meet the travelers coming to the camp which is nice. When I read the Origine Nomade profile, I knew it was a place I wanted to see and to meet the people behind it. Georgio has put his heart into it and you can see everything developing day by day. I helped with planting a hedge and trees, painted, enjoyed cooking and produced a little bit of Instagram footage. I liked that the land consists of a part that had been used as a garden in the past so that you can still find some vegetables growing there. Combined with loads of wild herbs, there's plenty stuff to cook with and to give you a taste of what the land will offer, when taken care of again in the future. So I think especially if you're interested in starting a garden, this is the place for you and you'll make somebody very happy. Generally I felt that working with Georgio was always fun and met with a lot of appreciation and I'd like to highlight his openness for feedback and for ideas for the project. And most important: Giorgio is a super kind person and all the people I met here were lovely. I wish you all the best and I hope to come back and see the blooming Vanlife-community :)

Staying with Brenda and Roger at Manuka Hideaway was the perfect ending to my New Zealand journey. I truly enjoyed my days on their beautiful property. Especially the moments spent drinking coffee, playing games, and having great conversations with Roger, who has so many fascinating and funny stories to share from his life. Brenda and Roger were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay – thank you so much again for the taxi service to the airport, dear Roger! I can highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys working in the garden, appreciates a really good cup of coffee, and is looking for a peaceful little break away from everyday life.

Ilma has been a very nice company and help during a week. She has been very kind with the baby and with me. She has been helping with shopping, good and healthy meals, specially breakfasts and a tasty vegetable stew!! We have shared very nice and interesting conversations as well. She is also an independent person so it is easy having either shared and non-shared moments. She is very special and thougthful, I recommend her!! Thanks Ilma!!

Betty has been an great help for our project and since she stayed for several weeks she has truly become part of this project. We would recommend her to everyone: she is a calm, kind, hands-on and truthfull person and the exchange with her was easy. She has been interested in everything on sight and she was not afraid to work hard and learn new things. Betty has been open to all kinds of tasks and was great help, as she didn’t mind getting her hands dirty or working in cold weather conditions.We would host her again any time and hope to stay in touch.

I forgot to leave feedback after I left in August, sorry:) This was my first workaway experience, I stayed for two weeks and had a wonderful time at Jamie's place, the kids were lovely and the whole family was very welcoming. I really enjoyed working in the garden, slowing down and reconnecting with nature (which is breathtaking by the way). As Jamie says, it's a very rustic environment, but that's just makes it more special. Though it took me one or two days to get used to it, I only regret not staying longer:) Thank you very much!

Stayed at the theatre quite a lot longer, than initially planned. For nearly three months. The crew, and the guests at the theatre have been very friendly and easy-going. Karin is always smiling and ready for the next thing, while always eager to be one big ear for any input. Mats is captivating storyteller, with equally creative flair for cocktails. Mounir the chef has a delicate ability to make something wonderful out of simple ingredients, seasoned with a good humour and some words of wisdom (: I'm especially thankful to Mortimer and Kicki, (and the Pug), for their company and friendship during my stay. Tasks-wise I was trusted with a lot of independence and largely self-managing pace, mostly taking care of bigger and smaller practical duties at the property, some of which I was let to take on by my own proposal and initiative. The theatre is basically in the lovely fishing village by the coast, with hourly bus connections to the bigger cities from the bus stop right down the road. I had a private room in a separate house for the volunteers right at the premises, with a spacious kitchen and a warm cozy fireplace (: Thanks again for having me and waiting forward to drop by again (: Tjena Tjena! Hi, I'm Maja! Me and my friend Malin had a wonderful experience with Jack🤗! We could only stay for about a week because of a booked flight but we wished we could've stayed longer. He is a very opened minded and friendly person who loves to be active which was very nice! (Thank you for the paddle games ;)) The weather in March was wonderful, the sun was shining all day🌞🌞🌞 and the beach was not too crowded. Eventhogh the water was cold Jack invited us to try it and it was really fun swimming. The apartment is very tidy and cozy you have the best view and a nice room all to yourself. We couldn't help a lot but we tried our best doing the dishes and preparing a meal. Thank you for having us, Jack and keep on enjoying life✌️ Maja&Malin🌞
