In Tor, we had a guest for two weeks who was a good communicator, easy-going, worked in the vineyard, was independent, and very appreciative and respectful. In our opinion, he should tone down his ode to our wine – for similar reasons to why he would have preferred to give us a bad review :)

EN: Believe me, Danielle's family and the heaven of peace they created are worth the visit for a volunteering! I had the chance to stay several weeks with them, helping with different tasks with the horses and on the field, enjoying while working the peaceful environment between river and forest. You will definitely if you desire and are involved get valuable knowledge on body awareness, consciousness and horses by observing and listening to Danielle! I personaly spent my free time outside with their lovely animals or enjoying the area, the villages around as well as Deventer are very lovely and worth the trip by bike (you can play board games at the library in Deventer on the Saturday and its real fun to meet people!). I have not much more to say except, thank you Danielle, I learnt so much from you and your family, you really created a peaceful home and I am glad I helped you a little. I hope to be back to say hi soon! And cheers to everybody including humans, horses, dogs and cats ;) FR: Croyez-moi, la famille de Danielle et le havre de paix qu'ils ont créé valent vraiment le détour pour réaliser un volontariat ! J'ai eu la chance de passer plusieurs semaines avec eux, à les aider dans diverses tâches avec les chevaux et sur leur terrain, profitant pleinement de ce cadre paisible entre rivière et forêt. Si vous le souhaitez et que êtes impliqués, vous pourrez acquérir sans aucun doute de précieuses connaissances sur la pleine conscience et les chevaux en observant et en écoutant Danielle ! Personnellement, j'ai passé mon temps libre dehors avec leurs adorables animaux ou à explorer les environs. Les villages alentour, ainsi que Deventer, sont magnifiques et méritent la ballade à vélo (vous pouvez jouer à des jeux de société à la bibliothèque de Deventer le samedi et c'est très sympa pour rencontrer du monde !). Je n'ai pas grand-chose à ajouter, si ce n'est un grand merci à Danielle et sa tendre famille. J'ai tellement appris de vous! Vous avez vraiment créé un cocon et je suis heureuse d'avoir pu vous apporter un peu de mon aide. Ana and Oscar are such nice people. Ana’s English is very good, and although Oscar’s English is at an basic -intermediate level, he consistently made an effort to learn new words every day. They did a great job with the cleaning and the garden. As a couple, they work very well together. They spent more than the average budget on food, but it wasn’t a big deal.

No sé por dónde empezar, pero mi breve estancia con Jo y Jake fue uno de los mejores días de mi vida. Hicieron que su casa se sintiera como la mía. También tuve otro compañero de voluntariado que fue muy, muy amable. Aprendí mucho y siempre me sentí cómodo dando mi opinión. I really think jake and jo are genuinely good, kind, intelligent people and I feel truly re inspired and refreshed after spending time with them. I would love love to come back.

I loved my experiences there, and I have been lucky enough to join them twice ! It is a beautiful and warm place, a big Andalusian Finca with a crazy garden, and crazy sunsets ! I have been there one week in november, and one other week in march, we have been both time a group of 4 volunteers. I like the diversity of the work we did : olive harverst, painting the wood of the doors and windows, planting aloe vera, painting the living room, weeding and giving compost to the fruit trees. Sometimes we work with Pablo in a very good mood, sometimes he explains us what we can do and he does his one things in a other part of the house. And I loved also to spend time with Violeta, his daughter (who speaks fluent english), to talk next to the fireplace late in the night or to play some games with the other volunteers ! Lovely people in a lovely place, don't miss your chance !

Este es un lugar hermoso. Nos sentimos allí como en casa. Gente maravillosa y un ambiente encantador. El lugar está cerca del pueblo de Timbío y en autobús se llega en media hora a la hermosa ciudad de Popayán. Cada tarde enseñábamos a los niños danza y teatro; fue una experiencia maravillosa. Durante nuestra estancia tuvimos la oportunidad de vivir las procesiones de Semana Santa y disfrutar de tardes de conciertos. Realmente lo recomendamos, el increíble se quedó en nuestros corazones. Gracias, gracias.

Luigi fue un super workawayer. Siempre dispuesto a ayudar, muy amable y tranquilo. Nos apoyó en multitudes de cosas y su presencia con nosotros fue todo un placer.

Giulia was an absolute joy to have here. Unfailongly cheerful, hardworking, and an absolute pleasure to have around. She stayed for 4 months. I wish she could have stayed longer.

I had a wonderful Workaway experience in Latacunga—Verónica is a truly kind and welcoming host who made me feel at home from the very beginning. She gave great recommendations for things to do and eat around the city and was always thoughtful and supportive. The apartment was comfortable, well-equipped, and in a great location close to everything. I worked in the afternoons, which gave me plenty of free time in the mornings to explore. The students were motivated, respectful, and a pleasure to teach, and the curriculum was easy to follow. A special highlight was being invited to celebrate Viernes Santo with Verónica and her family. Sharing Fanesca with them was such a lovely experience-everyone was so warm and welcoming. Overall, it was a perfect mix of teaching, cultural exchange, and exploring. Thank you so much for everything i really enjoyed my time in Latacunga!!!:)

I had a beautiful experience at this place. Samo & Florre are kind and interesting people and Tlayacapan is a nice small town with amazing mountain energy. There were so many animals, mostly chickens but also dogs and cats! It was super cool to paint a little magickal mural in the bathroom, and too see what other volunteers had created on the walls - a timeline of past adventures ✨ The work with the animals was sometimes hot and time consuming but not too hard, it was interesting to learn about caring for chickens. We had to catch and care for the young chickens when they had injuries - I was not the best chicken catcher 🤣 but I was good at comforting & cleaning them. And I caught a few! It was dry season so everything was very dusty and not a lot blooming (besides the beautiful purple tree where the hummingbirds dance) - I would love to come back and see everything transform during the rainy season!

She is friendly, helpful and eager to learn. She was always helping in the kitchen and enjoying the meals with the family. We had a great time with her, and we recommend her to other hosts.

We had a wonderful month with Andreas and Andrea. From the moment they arrived to the day they left they made everything so much easier for all the team ..They were patient ,always eager to learn and never opted out of hard work. While they were here we had to prune and tie down 6,000 vines-a really arduous job-but they got stuck in without a single complaint. Making a Chicken Tractor was much more fun and even more fun buying the chickens and seeing them happy in their new home . Andrea was wonderful in the kitchen too, taking it in turns with Toby ,another workawayer, ,to make bread everyday and cooking dinner . They brought such a positive energy -fun to have them around ,easy going ,honest and genuinely helpful in everyway. We cannot thank them enough and really appreciate what was achieved in the month. We highly recommend these two super stars to future hosts. Happy travels .We miss you and hope to meet again one day

We all cried a little when Lise left. She was with us for a month and clicked so well with the house that it seemed like she'd always been there. Hardworking, dedicated, kind, and incredibly talented in her art. An excellent human being who made the house her home and contributed to it as such.

Zabe is a talented magician with a commanding presence and exceptional artistic skill. Her arrival at our house was a testament to the collective effort that allowed this space to continue its remarkable work. Thank you so much for choosing us as your creative space.

Sandrine et Charly étaient des hôtes extraordinnaires.Ils nous ont fait entré non pas seulement dans leur grande et très bien équipée maison de vavances justement à côté de leur maison privé mais aussi dans leur vie familiale ( la mère de Sandrine, Nadine, est une dame très charmante et nous a même fait le bienvenu dans sa propre et admirable maison avec son parc- merci💛) Nous avons eu la choix a quel projet nous allons travailler: on a rangé et on a fait un truc dans la cour et nous avons planté 12 lauriers au jardin. Jürgen a travaillé un peu comme arboriste dans les arbres qui étaient sur le terrain. Même si le temps faisait très froid et le Mistral soufflait tant, on a aimé nos jobs et par échange on a goûter de merveilleux repas chez les deux. En tout cas, on va revenir et nous espérons que Sandrine et Charly vont nous visiter à la Forêt Noire. Merci à vous deux🤗

Jason is a great man, talented, with a deep love for medicine and animals. The house now has a beautiful mural with which we will always remember him. Thank you for being part of the family. It is an honor for me to call you friend.

He was an incredible volunteer. His last-minute arrival was invaluable in getting the house ready for visitors and volunteers. He was clean, hardworking, and had excellent baking skills. Thank you so much for your participation with us; we hope to see you again.

I feel very blessed to have had the chance to meet Motaz, Emily and Joan at the beautiful Medusa Guesthouse. I spent almost a month with them and I truly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore Amman while staying in an absolutely stunning and cosy place in the city centre. From laundry and basic cleaning to making beds and welcoming guests, the work is light and flexible and you will always have free time to explore the city. You can also organize with the other workers to take some days off to visit other regions of Jordan. Motaz is a beautiful soul with great humour, and the house reflects his energy and good taste. He always makes sure we feel free and happy around the house and he's very open to listening to our ideas and suggestions. Shukran for the shared meals, laughs, dances and conversations! I hope we see each other soon! ❤️🌞

Son una pareja imparable, muy comprometida con el trabajo que entregan y lo hacen con mucho cariño y eso se nota en cada detalle. Aprendimos mucho de ustedes y esperamos que tengan claro que este trocito del mundo es su casa también. Les estrañaremos mucho porque fue muy especial conocerles ...cuando prendamos una de las cuantas luces que nos instalaron ... cuando extrañemos ese delicioso brigadeiro o el o pan de calabaza 😀... cuando escuchemos a Vico c jijiji....Les deseamos lo mejor en sus aventuras y de seguro dejarán mas huellas bonitas en los otros voluntariados que les reciban. Les guardamos en el corazón 😊

I joined the camping from the end of June to mid August. I was very well welcomed. Sandra and Roland were very caring to me. They taught me with patience which allowed me to be polyvalente at the work! I worked behind the counter, at the bar, as a waitress, a cleaner, and even a cook sometimes! It was very excited. The surrounding is very beautiful and the camping is very clean. It is well organised. The caravane where I slept was lovely. The payment was serious and always on time! I would recommend.
