Description
I’m looking for a reliable, practical and friendly woman with good equine experience who is available in October. You need to be comfortable with your own space and enjoy your own company.
Thie position involves a mixture of pony care, household help, sanctuary tasks and some computer/social media work.
There are currently 9 ponies, 2 dogs and 1 sheep living here.
Please only apply if you have genuine practical equine experience.
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
Pony & Sanctuary Care.
●Everyday pony care.
●Checking ponies and their general wellbeing
●Helping with routine jobs around the sanctuary
●Safely handling ponies without needing constant supervision
Household Help
●Cooking a simple everyday evening meal
●Light housework
Computers & Social Media
I’m also developing my Horse Guided Empowerment (HGE) project i need some guidance on how to effectively use social media and updating my website.
The exact balance of tasks will vary from day to day depending on what needs doing.
Accommodation & Board
You will have your own private accommodation in my caravan during your stay, while also having access to the household facilities and shared areas as appropriate.

A Few Things You Should Know
I am a smoker. This is a smoking household and the position is unlikely to suit someone who is very sensitive to cigarette smoke or who strongly dislikes being around smokers.
I cannot cater for special dietary requirements so please take this into consideration before applying.
Whilst I am more than willing to help you improve your English you do need to be reasonably proficient so that you can understand instructions.
Life Here
This is a peaceful, animal-centred environment where the ponies are a big part of everyday life.
Alongside helping with the sanctuary and my HGE project, you will have plenty of your own free time.
If you love ponies, enjoy a quieter way of life and would like to experience living in Ireland for a few weeks you may really enjoy it here. -

I am within walking distance of Tramore, (about 25 mins) from where you can get bus and train transport to anywhere in Ireland. There are many beaches and wooded areas locally.
