My boyfriend and I were warmly welcomed and had an amazing three weeks on the farm. From the very beginning we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Our tasks included building a new wood storage, herding the sheep, taking care of the chickens, and moving the cows. The farm is absolutely beautiful, with 120 hectares to explore — there is always something new to discover. In our free time, we could go fishing (at Lago Frío or in the mountain lagoon) or simply relax in a hammock and enjoy the view over the farm. Christian and his family came by every one or two days to bring building materials for the wood storage or food. On weekends, they were usually on the farm as well, and we shared many conversations, stories, and learned a lot about life on the farm. We also had the opportunity to be part of the lamb slaughtering process — completely optional, and only if you felt comfortable participating. We really enjoyed our time and can highly recommend this Workaway experience!

Linn was remarkably consistant about her works, finding a quick routine during the days, constantly striving for improvements. Than you so much for your wonderful help. I was really enjoying your stay with us, although it was short. Your openness was warming hearts of guest helpers as well as mine. Your interests in animals outstanding. If it is possible, I would really like to see you again, when you are near. And I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and your wellbeing in presence and future.

What can I say about this amazing experience at Future School!?! First of all, my communication with Marianna was great from day one. She was very reliable, kind and supportive while we were trying to find a good period for me to visit. I already had many trips planned and since I live in Budapest I asked if they could accept me the next day just for one week and this is what we did! I am so grateful that they gave me this opportunity and accepting me with such a short notice! I felt so much welcomed and appreciated from day one. Marianna is also very positive, sweet and helpful. I have attended several classes in the school (you can attend classes at your convenience) including English, Music and Drama classes. All teachers were so inspiring, creative and very open to include me in their classes. Most of the times I was playing with the kids some simple games in English or just having conversations about our culture and interests. The kids are so smart and curious to learn. I also received so much love and appreciate by them! The lunch at the school was very delicious with two different options each time. If you love kids and you are curious about creative and fun ways of education, don't think twice and volunteer at Future School!😉 For me it was one of the most heartwarming experiences I ever had and I will do my best to go back one day with new ideas and hopefully more time! Thank you so much Marianna and all the teachers for trusting me with the kids and giving me this wonderful opportunity to learn so many things from all of you!

Quelle joie d'avoir reçu Chloé et Guillaume à la maison ! Ils ont été adorables, investi dans les travaux réalisés et minutieux. Au quotidien, j'ai vraiment apprécié partager du temps avec eux, nos discussions étaient riches et variées et mon petit Lenny a lui aussi vraiment aimé leur compagnie. Bref, ce sont des workawayers parfaits !

Zoe and her friend Rebecca volunteered with us for three weeks, and it was a real pleasure to host them. From the beginning, they were respectful, open-minded, and eager to help. They showed genuine care for the children and quickly built a good connection with them, even though some of the kids were shy at first. They supported both creative and academic activities and also spent a lot of time playing sports and engaging the children in positive, energetic ways. They came prepared with ideas and were confident in leading activities, which was very helpful, especially during the holiday period. Both volunteers were responsible, punctual, and independent. They followed the house rules, adapted well to simple living conditions, and showed a positive attitude throughout their stay. They also interacted well with other volunteers and were easy to live with. We truly appreciated their dedication, kindness, and enthusiasm. They made a positive impact on our project and on the children, and we would gladly recommend them to any future host. They are welcome back anytime.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Connie is a very friendly, welcoming and flexible host. We also loved spending time with the dogs, cats and other guests. Especially the dogs will be missed very much. During our walks with them we really got to know their characters and got a lot of appreciation in return! We couldn't have picked a better place for our four weeks in Sayulita. Connie let us use the casa's surfboards, there are hikes all around and the town felt like home very quickly.

Your genuine connection with the children was natural and beautiful to witness, they felt safe, loved, and inspired around you. Your positive attitude, openness, and willingness to engage fully in daily activities made a meaningful difference in our home and project. Casey was an absolute blessing to have around. She is incredibly talented with people and truly shines in reception and bar work. Her ability to connect with guests, make them feel welcome, and handle responsibilities with ease is remarkable. She is an amazing personal and professional resource — very empathetic, consistently professional, and exceptionally hard-working. She approaches her work with care, dedication, and a positive attitude, and it genuinely shows in everything she does. We were very lucky to have her with us and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and people-focused volunteer.

The decision to spend time volunteering at the foundation was one of the best I’ve made in my time traveling through South America. As soon as I got there, I felt at home with the other volunteers who make the atmosphere welcoming and fun. Over time, I grew to appreciate the pivotal role that the foundation has within the community. I appreciated the effort that Martin put in for us volunteers to engage with the local community. The work itself I really enjoyed. When the students of the foundation are gone for the summer, volunteer work is entirely focused on the garden, which is physically demanding but rewarding work. I would recommend this WorkAway to anyone who is interested in engaging with a local community in Mendoza, wants to make new international friends, and enjoys hands-on work. Gordon is such a great chap. We had a really lovely time while he was around and honestly wished he could have stayed longer, but he already had other plans. He’s genuinely helpful and always tries his best to support in any way he can. PS: He does have a very strong Scottish accent — but he really makes an effort to soften it, and it was actually quite fun 😄

Michelle & Callum are a kind, hardworking couple who supported us with everything we asked for — from reception and cleaning to even taking our guests out for drinks in town. They never hesitate to help and consistently give more than 100% in everything they do. Both of them have a strong work ethic and clearly understood our needs, which we truly appreciate. We do highly recommend them.

I had a fantastic time staying with Craig. He made me feel welcome from the very start and always took great care of me, offering support and help whenever I needed it. The work was diverse and enjoyable — from gardening to woodwork and other projects — so I was able to learn a lot while contributing in meaningful ways. The atmosphere was always relaxed and friendly. A special highlight was his incredibly sweet cat, who quickly stole my heart, and the golden retriever who visited from time to time — such a beautiful and friendly dog! I’m very grateful for this experience and can highly recommend Craig to anyone looking for a supportive, positive, and rewarding Workaway stay. I would come back anytime!

I’d like to start by saying thank you. A huge thank you to Adam, Anna, and Frank for hosting me. Adam is a very funny person. Though I often couldn’t catch his jokes, after a few times, I finally managed to get them occasionally. As this was my first Workaway trip, I’m truly grateful for all the new experiences I had during these two weeks. I tried the sauna, which I really loved, apple rice, hot spiced beer, giving the dogs massages, and many more. We spent the first week in Opinogóra and the second week in Kielce. Our tasks included patching walls and cleaning the chicken coop. Doing five hours of physical work every day was just the right amount. It helped me sleep very well every night, and I still had time to go for walks or work on my own homework.Although the weather in Poland was quite cold, I think I will miss the warmth of the fireplace, the comfort of Polish food, and the time I spent with Adam and Stefania.

Johanna stayed with us only one day, but she was kind and helpfull! All the and good luck in life =)

What a great young couple! If you get the chance to host George and Edie - do so! they are communicatice, can work independently and adapt very quick to new situations. We had a great time with them!
