Description
You are welcome at my house near Pokhara.
Too much noise and people in Pokhara? We are located in the beautiful and quiet methlang village. Our place is called sandhya chakra farm, we have built our family house 12years ago, just 3-4 km from Pokhara - a 1 hour walk from lakeside.
I offer 2 separate rooms in my house, on the first floor and second floor. My house is simple and you can experience real rural village life. I live here with my husband, our young daughter and my mother. Neighbours come to visit often.
We have common bathroom . We live here more natural way. Using stream and rain water, growing different vegetables. We have Buffalo, chickens and three goats. If you like to experience authentic Nepali life then you are welcome.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Volunteers learn Nepali culture, they will learn Nepali farming lifestyle, we will share our family home, and share work and food also.
Volunteers are expected to help care for the farm animals, do some gardening, help in greenhouse project, etc. I can teach volunteers Nepali languages, and we can teach volunteers to cook Nepali food. Volunteers will work for 1-2 hours a day and they will have Saturday and sunday as their restday.

I can also give good advice on trekking - helping to make plans and if you like, I can also be your guide on treks.
We are growing here seasonal vegetables such everyday day we care animals bufflo,help to cut grass and carring grass at farm,we cook in our food in fire ,that why volunteers help to bring wood ,digging our field to plant to seasonal vegetables in our farm ,we plant our garden some plant other also there are, mustard, corn, millet, beans ,

Accommodation
We have two separate rooms for volunteers on the first and second floor of our house . There is power and wifi .we will serve two meals of dahal bhat per day and sometimes we can share snacks during the day ,such as chapati with vegetables or popcorn .we have a common bathroom which you will share with our family. There is a shower with cold water .

There are lots of hiking opportunities nearby our farm,for example to the sarangkot view point where you can see the beautiful annapuran range other viewpoints of lake and city .other adventurous activities to do in the area are paragliding ,ziplining or gondola .in pokhara you can visit the world peace pagoda and Fewa lake.
