We had the absolute pleasure of having Louisa with us, and we can wholeheartedly recommend her. She is kind, reliable, and truly dedicated in everything she does. Louisa took care of our beloved dog Abbe as if he were her best friend, which meant the world to us. She is an excellent cook, kept the house clean and well organized, and always approached her tasks with care and responsibility. We were so happy that Louisa chose to come back to us after her first stay and remain for an additional two months — that alone says a lot. Louisa is polite, warm, and a genuine joy to have around. It was wonderful having her with us, and we wish her all the very best in everything she does.

Clélia brought a lot of joy to the Accademia. She integrated well into the team while participating in the association's activities, particularly music lessons and workshops, and she generously contributed to the final workshop presentation with her saxophone. She also incorporated Spanish dishes into the menu. Thanks again, it was a pleasure to host you :)

Zoja is a model of reliability, professionalism, class, and elegance. Having worked in the restaurant industry, she brought her expertise to the association. She integrated perfectly into the team and, since she remained in Italy, she has maintained a friendly relationship with everyone. She is still involved in the association's activities, which is a pleasure for us.

My workaway experience with Jocelyne and Jean-Claude (and their beautiful cat Simba) was absolutely amazing! I spent three weeks with them and during this span of time we did a lot of nice things together: I've been with them a couple of times in Paris (where they showed me a little the beauty of the city and welcomed me in their house), we went several times to have dinner at the restaurant (and I appreciated a lot every single time, especially the first one when they decided to bring me out to celebrate my birthday!) and much more! Their property is simply speechless: it has two big gardens, it stands on a river, it's situated in front of a beautiful castle, it has a huge windmill and three different houses. I was very lucky because I had an entire house only for me and with every sort of comfort (tv, wifi...) and amenity available. It was good because I could have breakfast and lunch on my own in my house, while the dinner was always all together where we could talk and laugh a lot and the food prepared by Jocelyne always delicious and fresh. The work was approximately 4/5 hours per day 5 days per week that I could manage autonomously, it was never too hard or too complicated, always explained patiently and attentively and it was mainly about gardening. During my days off I could relax at home, take a ride by bike or visit the region with its beautiful castles and nature, and they were always ready and happy to help me with advices and recommendations about the best things to do and places to visit. I am eternally grateful for every thing you gave me and did for me, and I really hope to come back one day to visit you in your beautiful house.

Federica is a wonderful Workawayer. She gets along very well with our son, and he really loves her. She is kind, patient, and knows how to interact with kids naturally. She also respects our house rules very well, is responsible, and easy to communicate with. Having her stay with us was a great experience, and we truly appreciated her help and positive attitude.

JJ & Lara stayed with us for nearly three weeks. We got a lot done and had a fun time together. We really like their sense of humour and willingness to work and deal with the challenges. They are a great young couple with a refreshing sense of adventure..... Thanks for the Help JJ & Lara, you are Legends :) We will keep an eye out for the Black Panther.....

I stayed for 7 weeks at the finca, had a great time with the other volunteers and with Jos - who was patient and willing to guide us throught the daily tasks. Had great contact with nature and animals it was great to give a hand, share and learn in this place. Shirley had great hospitality and was very welcoming, I felt great and had an apreciable experience at her finca!

Aquí es un lugar hermoso, donde se puede aprender bastante sobre la Bioconstrucción. Arnold y Anna son excelentes anfitriones, más que anfitriones son Amigos, se pudo compartir mucho con ellos hablando sobre el proyecto, ideas, viajes sin duda es un lugar muy agradable donde también nos hizo sentir como en casa. siempre hay voluntarios lo que hace que haiga un gran equipo con una energía chevere. Arnold es muy paciente explicando las tareas y también muy flexible, aa y falta mencionar a Galford que es un perrito muy tierno, ya estamos esperando que llegue el momento de volver a la aquí y ayudar de nuevo, les queremos mucho nos vemos pronto 🎍🌲💚🛖

I had a truly wonderful time staying with Klaas, Giedre and Hippie through Workaway. From the very beginning, they welcomed me with so much warmth and kindness, and I immediately felt at home. Their openness and genuine care made this experience very special for me. Spending time together — including the moments with Hippie — was truly priceless. The days I spent there are memories I will carry with me for a long time. It was not just a stay, but a meaningful human connection. I am deeply grateful for the hospitality, the trust, and the time we shared. Thank you for welcoming me into your life and your home!

Grace (Gahyeon) stayed a short 4 days at my place but was a great help around the home, keeping the kitchen and living areas clean and tidy as well as watering the plants. She is still learning English but we were able to communicate well through a translation app on her phone and she was always good to talk to. Best wishes for the rest of your stay in Australia and you enjoy the Australian Open.

Dri has been by far one of the best workawayers we have had. Extremely helpful, proactive, kind and loving.

Daniel's presence here was much more than a collaboration: he has been a true catalyst. His clear vision, the passion with which he tackles every challenge, and his ability to transform complex ideas into systems that truly work have left a tangible mark on the project and the team. What's striking about Dani isn't just his enormous technical expertise, but his attitude: curious, determined, always focused on finding solutions and helping people grow alongside the processes. He has brought structure without rigidity, method without losing the soul of the place. And that's rare. We are deeply grateful for the time, energy, and heart he has put into this journey. This was my first Workaway experience and I could not have been more lucky to stay with Miłka, Marcin, Lena and Jan! It was the most nourishing, magical experience and I am immensely grateful to them all for welcoming me into their beautiful, cosy home for two weeks! The work set-up was simple and effective: tasks would be clearly communicated after breakfast and I would focus on these mostly in the morning. I did some English with Jan, cooked, baked and helped sort the family's storage of apples, pears, pickles and jams. It stopped feeling like work at all really, and more just part of daily living. The village had been transformed into a winter wonderland with all of the snow and every day was different and equally stunning. Marcin, thank you for picking me up from the train station in such heavy snow and for building a lovely bonfire for my final evening there. Lena and Jan, thank you reminding me to do Duolingo, encouraging me with my very basic Polish, teaching me how to play Dixit and for your humour and delicious recipes! Miłka, I can't thank you enough for your kindness and gentleness: for our poetry chats over herbal tea; for lending me thicker gloves and a hat; for letting me come along with your family on a gorgeous hike in the mountains and for inspiring me to bake gluten-free. I am so happy that I met you all and started the year this way. I look forward to our paths crossing again in the not so distant future.

It has been amazing to meet Joe and host him in our home and project. Joe is extremely respectful, kind, funny and very willing to help in any way that's needed. He has a big heart and is very easygoing overall. He's been absolutely a huge help with work in the gardens, ploughing the fields and rebuilding dams in the gardens. He is also an amazing help in the kitchen: besides always happy to help keeping everything clean, he's an incredible cook and has clearly a big passion for preparing food, using whatever is available in your kitchen. We will not easily forget those tasty meals he made during his stay, be sure to ask him to prepare a meal for you. Thank you Joe for everything, it was an honor and pleasure meeting you!

Naomi was an exceptional Workaway, very willing to help with any chore or project, a pleasure to be around and never complained. She was here for almost 3 weeks and will always be welcome here. I highly recommend her.

My workaway in the Beatrice and Marco's house was truly amazing, from the very first moment until the last one. I felt welcomed and part of the family for the entire my stay, that was unfortunately of only two weeks. I had my own bedroom and bathroom, both very nice and perfect for me, the food was always delicious and cooked at home together with Beatrice, who is a great cook and loves preparing fresh and biological food and also taught me many recipes with patience and passion. I really loved sharing many activities with her like cooking, playing at different board games (also with their son Gaspar and his girlfriend Matilde, both very nice and friendly), taking a ride by bike, going to supermarket together, watching tv series and movies while drinking a glass of wine, and much more. Moreover I had also the chance to meet many friends of them and a part of their big family, who invited me at Christmas dinner and also gave me a present (that I appreciated enormously!) About the work it was all good!It was just a few hours per day and in the morning it was about working a couple of hours in the garden (planting new trees, spreading the manure, collecting the branches and more...) while in the afternoon taking care of the house, cooking, cleaning the small house that welcomes guests from time to time, vacuum the floor. A task that I particularly appreciated was to decorate the Christmas tree all together, it was very funny! During the free time I was free to relax and do whatever I wished: I'm very thankful to Beatrice who one day showed me the city of Romans-sur-Isere and spent all the afternoon together and another day she drove me until Valence, where I had the opportunity to explore and discover the city on my own! I hope to have told all about my fabulous experience with you. I wish you all the best because you have welcomed and treated me with love and lots of patience and I'm sure we'll meet each other again! Fortunately we live not too far away. A' bientot ❤️

I spent ten days at the camp in Tamraght as a yoga teacher, and from the very first moment I felt incredibly warmly welcomed. You can immediately sense the positive energy of this place, and it truly felt like I became part of the family right away :) My role was teaching yoga and taking photos and videos of the surfing, and I genuinely loved it. It never felt like work, but rather like something I enjoyed doing from the heart. I also really appreciated the exchange with the guests. I met so many kind and inspiring people, and time flew by. It definitely didn’t feel like ten days, and I would happily come back anytime. I can wholeheartedly recommend checking out this place. The location is beautiful, with access to different beaches around Tamraght and Taghazout, each with its own unique vibe. The sunsets are always absolutely stunning. The food was consistently delicious, and the staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and always up for a great conversation. Evenings with guitar music create such a relaxed and familiar atmosphere! This place is truly unique, and I am deeply grateful for this opportunity. A big thank you and warm hugs to everyone. I will carry this experience in my heart🤍

Silje and Diego are the sweetest hosts. They always check in with everyone's feelings and make you feel very welcome. They really invest in a safe, personal and intimate relationship between the volunteers, which makes the experience so much richer. This was definitely one of the best experiences of my life. I learned so much about permaculture and would like to continue this in my life. The classes are very inspiring. Thank you for broadening my knowledge. This experience is very dear to me and I will never forget it. Highly recommend this beautiful place with these beautiful people!

Fantastic workaway exchange! Sydney was a delight to host and would highly recommend to other hosts! Sydney helped out around the house, in the garden and was amazing with our kids and animals. She worked autonomously and asked questions about tasks when needed. She cooked us the most delicious meal and taught us all about the wonders of our native invertebrates - we are now keeping our eyes open for velvet worms and leaf slugs! Thank you Sydney :)

A great experience for our first Workaway! Victor gave us a warm welcome and answered all our questions and requests. The location is a bit far from the center, but it's easily accessible by colectivo or even on foot. The nights were cold when we were there, so come prepared. We mainly did painting, which was quite simple! Thanks again.
