Hi, my name is Rodney and I live in the suburb of Ashmore, in the northern end of the Gold Coast. I work in Brisbane 3 days a week and travel there by train. I moved to the Gold Coast from Brisbane in July 2023. If you can help in any of the areas feel free to contact me for a Workaway stay: gardening, French or German language exchange, vegetarian cooking, Yoga session.

On the weekends I can take you to go surfing (hire boards cost around $25/$30 for 2 hours), for a hike in a National Park or to the markets. I can also help you practice your English if required.

I can provide accommodation in exchange for 1-2 hours of work each day in any of the above areas. You can have your weekends free. The duration of your stay can be up to a maximum of 4 weeks.

I live in a 3 bedroom duplex with a small yard in the suburb of Ashmore, Gold Coast. You will have your own room with a double bed and own bathroom.
What else ...
I live about a 15 minute bus/tram ride from the northern beaches of the Gold Coast. There are also many National Parks within an hours drive. There are nice weekend markets also within a 10 minute drive.

He took us surfing, cooked us some amazing food and showed us places. The work consisted of a little gardening, house keeping, speaking German or feeding worms ;).
We really had an amazing time and can only recommend everyone to stay at his place!
