Description

Born in Asturias, Spain. Previously based in Berlin with a professional background as software engineer & software engineering manager.

My first solo backpacking trip and CouchSurfing experience took place in 2014. In 2018 I quit my job and sold everything I owned –not much anyways– to embrace full-time backpacking, spending shortly afterwards 3 months in the Philippines. Never looked back ;)

Currently enjoying a nomadic and quite minimalistic lifestyle, slowly moving around sharing good vibes and learning new things.

Last year I had my first experience working in a hostel as all-rounder (reception, cleaning, laundry, kitchen, sunset tours, workshops, etc.) and loved every minute of it. Nothing like helping guests making the most out of their stays / having a memorable stay.

During summer 2023, shortly after registering in this platform, I've worked taking care of a small glamping / campsite in Norway. It was a really positive experience and can't wait for the next ones.

Due to my former professional background, I know a thing or two and enjoy discussing about software development and innovation management, building psychological safety, promoting continuous learning, workshop design and facilitation, agile / lean methodologies, knowledge management, public speaking…

On the personal side of things, I'm quite easy-going and enjoy a bunch of activities such as cooking, playing the guitar, juggling, longboarding, chess…

Arguably even more important: I strive everyday to keep a growth mindset. Therefore I'm always looking forward to learning new skills and improving old ones.
