Firstable, I want to thank Sergiu and his family for the way they welcomed me. They are great people. I had a wonderful stay of 2 weeks with Sergiu, the experience was very interesting and fulfilling for me. About my mission, the tasks were varied. Sergiu runs a 10 hectare farm, he still has many things to do and works hard to finish the accommodations to welcome visitors soon in Bed&Breakfast. He also produces very good artisanal wine and grows differents things in the fields. Sergiu offered me separate accommodation, close to where he lives with his family. It was simply perfect and comfortable. I espacially enjoyed meeting members of the family, his wife Oxana, their son Bogdan (thanks again Oxana for the discussions, excellent food and your welcome). I spent the rest of my time in Moldova exploring the country. And I recommend everyone come and visit this beautiful country, still authentic, multicultural, kind people. In conclusion, you will understand, I highly recommend you to contact Sergiu, request a mission, go and help him at the farm. You will have a wonderful, authentic experience with caring and welcoming people. Alex ;)

Très agréable séjour avec Elena , très gentille , discrète et très respectueuse . Nous avons beaucoup échangé dans nos moments de repos et Elena s'est bien intégrée à la vie familiale . Elle a fait beaucoup d'efforts pour pratiquer son français qui est maintenant à un bon niveau . Un bon soutien dans le travail qui a été principalement du bricolage mais aussi du jardinage . Le travail effectué a toujours été bien fait et même dans les domaines où elle n'avait pas de connaissances particulières elle a toujours réussi et respecter les consignes . La confiance était établie . Nous recommandons Elena et merci encore pour ton aide .

Gwyneth is an amazing person, with a great vibe and always willing to help and learn new things. During her time here she consistently demonstrated commitment, camaraderie, and a positive attitude. She has a real talent for connecting with people and making them feel welcome. We would definitely love to have her back with us and highly recommend her.

Me quedé poco más que un mes en la casa y lo pasé muy bien. El trabajo es fácil, un poco de limpieza y recepción, y Masiell se ocupa muy bien de los voluntarios. Celebremos navidad y el nuevo año junto con los voluntarios, huéspedes y vecinos del Hostel y también disfruté q en el bar pudimos ver todos los partidos de fútbol. A veces un poco caótico pero así aún más simpático. Gracias Chris y Masiell, saludos a Elio, Jimmy y todos los demás. Nos vemos cuando regresaré a Medellín!

Stefane is a deeply sensitive and caring woman. Our journey together lasted only a few weeks, but we still met a kind and helpful person. We were looking for someone to help us with our youngest child, and even though Stefane didn't speak Italian, we found a way to communicate and make her feel a part of our daily lives, and she did her best. We were able to broaden our cultural and linguistic knowledge, and for this we will always be very grateful. Thanks for everything

Jens y Tina se contactaron conmigo y cuando ví su perfil enseguida supe que serían geniales, personas organizadas como mucha experiencia, y pude confirmar que su descripción era muy humilde con muchos conocimientos un gran equipo, cuidaron a nuestros animales perros ovejas gallinas y caballos, repararon muchas cosas en la chacra y construyeron un monturero hermoso con materiales reciclados, también compartimos muchos momentos de diversión con los caballos que los aceptaron completamente, fue un placer trabajar y aprender con ambos. Les deseamos lo mejor y que cuenten con nuestro espacio cuando gusten.

Hey guys, I have done several volunteer projects around the world, and this one was truly one of the best. Staying with you was truly a wonderful experience. There was such a warm, friendly atmosphere, and from the very first day I felt welcome. It was a pleasure to be part of the team. A big thank you to Martin and Jose, and to the entire team in Bogotá especially Wendy, who were always kind, supportive, and happy to help whenever it was needed. Thank you for everything I learned and for all the beautiful memories. I would be very happy to return one day 💛

She has solid knowledge of horsemanship and was always willing to help with any kind of work on the farm. Her attitude was consistently positive, and she approached every task with enthusiasm, responsibility, and a strong work ethic. She was reliable, proactive, and showed great respect for both the animals and the daily routines of the place. It was a real pleasure working with her, and I truly appreciated her dedication, flexibility, and genuine interest in learning and contributing. I would gladly recommend her to any host.

Guillaume Is quite a multifaceted person! He was a great help while he was here! He helped me complete the plastering inside my home, he dug out a space for my shower and toilet plumbing which is not easy work! And he very mindfully and carefully helped me prepare a lot of wood and varnish it for future projects! He is a bit quiet and reserved but once you get to know him, he becomes quite animated. We had some very interesting conversations and we found much common ground with our experiences living in India. He revealed that is an amazing incredible artist also! One night he made us all a mango coconut curry! 😋 Unfortunately, he had to leave a bit early so he could fly to Savannah, GA in the States to set up his art exhibit there! Thank you for all your help!

Incredible experience on Saskia's farm, the stay was very pleasant and very comfortable, I was with her on two occasions. One helping to build a fence for the raspberries they have on their farm, and also spending one of the best Christmases of my life with Rosa, Saskia and more colleagues! The truth is that I had a great time. And the second time was painting a mural that can be seen when arriving at the place, I am very grateful for the creative opportunity that Saskia gave me to let me express my art and open its doors to me. It's a great place for any creative or artist who needs to connect. I am very happy that the universe has guided me to this place. ✨

Michael is the BEST volunteer I’ve had here! If I could give him 10 stars, I would! Michael is a wonderful man. He is considerate, conscious and easy to speak with. He takes initiative and is interesting and has a good sense of humor. He came to help me for 2 weeks after he completed a 10 day meditation retreat. He drove here on a rented motorcycle so he had freedom to explore this beautiful area. He has so many construction skills and unique ideas on how to do things and problem solve. While he was here, he helped me with many projects to “move the needle forward”. He helped me finish plastering, sanded a bunch of wood in preparation for protective layers, he patched up the roof to make it look better and become leak free and he helped me create a decorative brick natural airflow vent between the layers of my roof! He also spent so much time helping me to install a solar system in RV and helped me to get the RV generator running. He is very low maintenance, never asked me for a thing or complained. He cleans up after himself and made many meals for himself and others. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for professional type of construction or masonry. He has years of experience under his tool belt! He is a treasure! Thank you Michael!

Had an amazing time! Spent 2 weeks here and really enjoyed both the work and the team. Much love to Dipa, Bishal, Dinesh, Mongole, Kedar, and Ama! The work is often very interesting (coffee picking especially!) and the hours are pretty chill. Food is great too!

Working at the hostel with Cami and the other volunteers was such an amazing experience. I was looking for a place I could call home for a month and they made me feel like this completely. Raphael was awesome, he seemed to know everybody in Belém, he shared many common interests with me and it was very easy to get along, he has a wonderful apartment in a very safe area with lots of super friendly people around. Cannot recommend more, hope to see you soon raphael in london!

Even if our stay at the farm was short, Cengiz was really kind and patient. The Farm is a trully amazing and inspiring project. Thank you for your hospitality !

Judith is a very kind and respectful person. She was punctual and completed all her tasks. The time she spent with the other volunteers and staff was excellent. We had nice talks and she learn spanish so fast I recommend Judith as a volunteer!

Tanya is a fascinating woman, who is beautifully curious and interested in the many flavours of life. Talking to her felt like my world view was expanded, with her many life experiences and broad viewpoint. While I was away she looked after my house, and it was in very safe hands. She was keen to clarify and be sure of any instructions, and let me know if there were any questions. She is very intelligent and good at taking responsibility. Tanya has lived in different cultures and places and continues in her journey of growth and expansion. I found her very inspiring and uplifting to be around. She is a very gentle and respectful person, with a kind heart and I would recommend her for workaway projects. Thank you so much for coming to stay.

I spent 10 days with Roro and Eli in beautiful Villa la Angostura. They welcomed me warmly and gave me the opportunity to choose where I wanted to contribute. I ended up helping to water plants and paint their old container, which they are transforming into accommodation for travelers. The tasks were easy and both Roro and Eli made sure I wasn't working too much and taking generous breaks. They worked nightshifts during the time I was there, so in the afternoons we would often go on trips to the stunning lakes and forests in the surrounding area. We shared a lot of laughter and music - we even made a music video together! The volunteer bedroom is quite simple (a mattress on the floor, no door), but Roro is working on renovating it. I really appreciated their generosity in sharing their home, meals and adventures. I'd definitely recommend this workaway for independent workawayers, who are happy to make their own plans while Roro and Eli are at work, and want to explore this stunning part of Patagonia while experiencing local family life.

Mohammed stayed a week with us and helped with various tasks. Most impressive was his calm can do attitude. Every Problem is a challenge for him to find a solution :). Obviously, his engineering knowledge and logical thinking plus a lot of humor are pretty cool. Also his photography and social media experience helped a lot when working with videos for insta. We hope he will return one day and we can continue to work together :)
