  • Description

Hi! My name is Gwyneth and I am looking to travel through Southern Brazil from December 25, 2025 to January 24t, 2026! My goals is to work on my Portuguese, Spanish, dance, and to surf as much as possible.

In the winter and spring I study Chemistry at Virginia Commonwealth University, this is my last year. so May of 2026 I will graduate university.

I’m open to all kinds of opportunities — from checking guests in at a hostel, to helping with repairs, to pet sitting, and everything in between. If it helps me learn, move, or connect with people, I’m in.

I’m a quick learner with a bubbly personality, and I bring a strong work ethic and positive attitude to everything I do. I learn best through hands on experience and constructive criticism – I appreciate knowing what not to do just as much as what to do!

    My skills/experiences include:
Housework, basic repairs, yoga/fitness, sailing, basic surfing, customer service, animal care, minimal car knowledge, and minimal gardening/farming.

Here is some information on my skills and experience! I have been sailing for over a decade which also includes working with ropes, hauling heavy items, and pressure washing be sides the actual sailing part. I have worked two food industry job which has included being a baker - I am currently trying to perfect my own fudge recipe. My current fall/spring job is a Residential Assistant which requires me to over see about forty freshman coming into college. With this job I have taught people how to cook, clean, and do laundry; a shoulder to cry on, mediator, tour guide, and customer service friendly towards everyone in the work place. I have been volunteering at two sailing camps for juniors - one camp for two years and one for six - my old sail team and I actually founded a junior camp and it's been running for it's eighth year. I have four siblings, I'm the second oldest, and one of my siblings has severe autism. My many siblings have helped me master basic first aid, cleaning, cooking, and more. I have also worked with different fowl (ducks, chickens, canaries, etc), dogs, cats, frogs, lizards, and rabbits.
