I had a good experience during my stay and I’m grateful for the opportunity. Min was kind and supportive, and I especially appreciated being welcomed and having the chance to stay a bit longer due to my flight cancellation situation. The students were lovely and I really enjoyed teaching them and spending time together. I met amazing volunteers during my stay as well. Thanks for everything!

Absolute legend. Had a very veryyy good experience here. The dogs were lovely and marko really kind. The hours of work were really versatile, I help him a bit renovate his room upstairs, making the garden nice and clean, and getting out the dogs ! He would bring me all over Slovenia and Italie mountain to do some hiking and tell me about the story of the country during first war. 10/10

I stayed with Luc and Andreza for about 12 days, and it was such a wonderful experience. From the very beginning, they made me feel welcome and comfortable. They prepared delicious food, brought me to a fun party on the weekend, and took me on a day trip to São Paulo where we explored Ibirapuera Park together. I joined all of the yoga classes during my stay, and they were truly amazing. I could feel my body becoming more flexible day by day. Luc is a super professional instructor! The people I met at the yoga studio were also very friendly, and I had many great conversations there. Ribeirão Pires is a lovely place. It is about one hour from São Paulo and has everything you might need. Luc’s place is conveniently located close to the train station and bus station, which makes getting around very easy. I also had free time when there were no classes, which gave me the chance to explore the area, visit parks, and enjoy local cafés. Luc and Andreza are wonderful hosts. They create such a positive, welcoming atmosphere. I’m really grateful for this experience and would definitely recommend staying with them! Obrigado!

Having you here was an absolute joy! Other volunteers and everyone in the community just loves to have you around. You brought such a great mix of leadership, kindness, and positive energy to the place and people. Your initiation to restarting the mushroom project was a success and still feeding the next groups for a few months . Some of your experiment with plants ,propagation are great lessons for us and others. We still have your super handmade curry paste in the fridge to share its supper spiciness. This is not to mention your chocolate ideas, you didn’t just participate you created. We are sure everyone still remember your generosity, the way you shopped and shared food with others. Your action spoke the value of caring and sharing of this community. So grateful that you are always checking in, with work progress, supporting, and caring, that means a lot to us. Thank you for everything you gave (and more). You’ll always have a place here as home.

We hosted Zenas for about three weeks and it was an unforgettable experience! He is an active, calm, friendly person with great organizational skills. My family and I were surprised by his practical skills in nature, with animals and in the garden. You can see his great passion! The weeks with Zenas and the other volunteer guys flew by, we also spent a lot of our free time together and I really appreciated his ability to share and adapt to different situations always with a smile on his face. Communication with him has always been clear and polite and has always helped us with daily chores before and after meals. Thanks Zenas, we miss you already! :)

Hosting Maï was an incredible experience for us. She brought so much joy and spring air to our family that it was wonderful to start this 2026 with her! We had time to get to know each other by spending a week alone before the rest of the group arrived and be able to dedicate ourselves to starting preparing the garden for the summer season, making our own chinotti jam and walking together in our free time. She was always available and active in the daily chores of the house and when the other volunteers arrived she had a great ability to create community and moments of sharing. It was all fun: from working hard moving lots of wood and manure.. to spending free time together! Very much recommended! Thanks Maï!!

Balasz arrived at the perfect moment—exactly when I needed strong, physical help—and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better support. From the very beginning, he showed great determination and a strong work ethic. Even when I tried to gently set the pace, he consistently proved himself to be resilient, hardworking, and fully committed to the tasks. Beyond work, we had a genuinely great connection. Balasz is an exceptionally intelligent person, someone you can talk to about virtually anything. Despite being much younger than me, his understanding of politics, geopolitics, and global economic mechanisms truly impressed me. It was also a pleasure to host someone from Hungary. Even though our languages feel like they come from completely different planets, we discovered a shared mindset—perhaps shaped by our Eastern European backgrounds, similar experiences, and, at times, similar perspectives. We had a lot of fun together. His help was not only valuable—it was essential, and it came exactly when I needed it most. There were moments when he worked longer hours, and I am very grateful for that. Balazs is easygoing, flexible, never complains, and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend him to any future host—you will definitely appreciate having him around. Balázs, I wish you all the best in life. See you at your wedding someday 🙂

This was one of the most enriching experiences of my life! Thank you so much Sheela and Claude for letting me come and stay with you. They are two charming ladies who create a wonderful atmosphere at their french estate. There is so much to learn about their life stories, art, philosophy, language and cooking. There really is something in the air there that just makes you appreciate life in a new way. Their artists, visitors and friends were also very interesting to get to know. The tasks were simple and straight forward. Helping Claude in the kitchen was a joy, and I learnt so many good tips and recipes. I also drove to the store, set up chairs for their calligraphy course and vacumed areas of the house. I even got to attend the course for free, which I am very grateful for. I recommend coming here with all my heart <3

I had a great time staying at the hostel. From the first day I felt very welcome and the atmosphere here is really friendly and relaxed. The place is perfect if you like an active lifestyle, meeting new people, and enjoying the local area. Lucky especially made my stay unforgettable. He is not only a great host but also became a real friend during my time here. He is always positive, helpful, and makes sure everyone feels at home. We had many good conversations, laughs, and adventures together, which made the experience much more than just staying in a hostel. The hostel itself is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. I stayed in many hostels during my travels, and what makes this place special is the people and the vibe. It’s easy to meet others here, but you can also relax when you want to. The cycling activities and tours are a big plus and make this place unique compared to other hostels. You really get to see the area in a different way. I would definitely recommend the hostel to anyone who wants a friendly place, good vibes, and an authentic backpacker experience. I hope to come back again one day.

Hannah and Hugo are lovely people who worked well within the team. They were friendly and happy and loved the animals. They would be welcome back here at any time.

Very nice and friendly person, we had a good experience. For DIY and help she is very not handy, she offered to do video and interview, it's very important to track it to get result.

We had a really wonderful three-week stay with Michelle and can highly recommend her as a Workaway host. The property is beautiful and very peaceful, and the treehouse is truly special. We really enjoyed the forest view from our bed and the warm and cozy atmosphere. During our stay, we worked on a variety of tasks around the property, including building a cat run for Chilly Bobby (he loves it :)), oiling the wooden table and preparing the deck for spring. The work was always very fair, varied, and enjoyable. Communication with Michelle was always clear and easy, both before and during our stay. We especially appreciated her flexibility with the work schedule. Most of all, we really enjoyed our open and interesting conversations at dinner time with her! Starting to exchange idioms from our languages was a fun highlight! We also had the chance to meet Chris, who stayed for a few days, what was very nice as well! We also loved spending time with Colby and Chilly Bobby. They are both super sweet, and we were happy to look after them for a few days while Michelle was away. We felt always very comfortable and welcome throughout our stay. We would happily come back, and we’re looking forward to staying in touch and seeing Michelle again soon in the future. Hola, It's Kata and Enikő from Hungary. We loved staying with Carmen and the doggies! It was a really relaxed 5 days, exactely what we needed. The work was easy, sweaping up the floor, cleaning a little bit after the animals, and taking the dogs for a short walk twice a day. Carmen cooked delicious meals for lunch, we had full exess to the kitchen and there is a bigger shopping center a 20 minutes walk away, where we could find everything for the breakfasts. We could even use the washing machine. To get there at first we took the public transportation from the Lima Airport (with suitcases what turned out to be a stupid idea), but on the second bus some really nice ladies told us, that it's not safe to take the bus with luggages, so we ended up taking an Uber instead. All in all a really great experience, thank you for having us! Kata&Enikő

I’ll always remember this experience, as it was my very first time volunteering, and I feel so lucky that this is where my journey started. I stayed for a month and met over 30 amazing people from all around the world, which made it even more special. I got to experience so many “firsts”: planting, seeding, taking care of animals, cooking for 20+ people, and living in an international community. This place taught me how to live more attentively and simply, and I’m leaving with so many meaningful memories and practical life skills that I know will stay with me. Big thanks to Burak and Berk for creating such a beautiful opportunity, and to Murat and Aytin Abla for all the teachings and for sharing such a genuine volunteering spirit. + And I’ll definitely miss Cacky (the cat) 🐾

I had a great time for two weeks with Louis and Ting! They are really hard-working and chilled at the same time, which is a nice combo. Louis gave good instructions for the boat work, and was patient with teaching me how to use tools. Ting was a great cook and hostess for events on the boat. Work was very manageable and fun because I learnt so much. They let me park my motorhome on the outside of the boat and be connected to their electricity which I appreciated a lot. Big thanks for hosting me and my videocamera!

-Una experiencia auténtica, lejos de los ritmos y comodidades urbanas, donde descubrir formas alternativas de vivir- Nuestra estancia ha sido una experiencia mágica e inolvidable 💛 Las principales tareas fueron apoyar en la bioconstrucción de un muro, cocinar o recolectar y secar diversas raíces y frutos propios de la zona. Además de pasar tiempo con las niñas, pero esta parte ha sido tan linda y divertida que no se puede considerar una tarea! :)) Silvana y Alessia son los seres pequeños mas sabios que hemos conocido 😍 las echamos mucho de menos! El día a a día en el Paso del Mango (pequeña comunidad donde su ubica la finca) es tranquilo, una vida 100% conectada con la naturaleza y sus ritmos, aunque ofrece buenas opciones de ocio para el tiempo libre como conocer reservas naturales, bañarse en ríos y cascadas, tomar algo en el excelente bar La Wati o visitar una granja de Cacao. El ambiente en la casa es familiar pero dinámico, abierto y divertido ☺️ Leo es excelente acompañando y motivando al voluntariado. El trabajo puede ser duro pero con música, alegría y buena compañía resulta muy gratificante. También tuvimos la oportunidad de colaborar con David en el proyecto Sierra Maestra, de donde nos llevamos valiosos aprendizajes y un gran amigo. Como parte de su proyecto de cosmética natural, Leo nos ofreció una formación práctica de elaboración de jabones con cúrcuma orgánica; súper interesante!! Gracias Leo, Keila, Ale, Silvi y David. My time at Stefano's was a really precious and rich experience, him an Freja hosted me with warmth and kindness into this beautiful creative and musical house. I feel deeply thankful for all the knowledge, the amazing food, the laughs and talks. Brogan was an absolute pleasure to have with us. From the very beginning, he showed a genuine willingness to contribute and quickly became a meaningful part of our community.
