  We are a very openminded and easy-going Italian family. Me (Camilla) and my brothers (William and Francesco) together with our parents and some other people live and work on this farm in the hinterland of Finale Ligure. We are looking for people who love nature and animals at least as much as we do and are enthusiastic and motivated to have a new experience with us.
  I moved to Liguria about nine years ago with the desire to innovate and continue the activity that was previously my grandfather's. I studied Social Work at the University of Genova, but even during my studies I always spent the summers here helping my family. Over the years my brothers joined me and together after the covid we decided to start this new sustainable project trying to be more self sufficient in terms of energy and food to produce for our own consumption. We have a small farm with several animals, a vegetable garden on different terraces and recently a citrus grove. We are inside a forest and therefore maintenance and cleaning works are done daily!
  To maintain ourselves, we have set up a campsite inside the farm but do not need support with any task about the tourism activity.
  
  To sum up, we like hard-working and enthusiastic people who VERY MUCH LOVE NATURE and have read the entire profile.
  We work in the mornings from Monday to Friday, roughly from 8:30 to 12:30/13:00 and weekends are free.
  We usually do everything together, have breakfast, lunch and dinner together. In case you are more independent, we can talk about it. We can accommodate dietary requirements for vegetarians or gluten-free diets.
  
  
  
  ITALIANO:
  Siamo una famiglia italiana molto aperta e alla mano. Io (Camilla) e i miei fratelli (William e Francesco) insieme ai nostri genitori e ad alcune persone singole viviamo e lavoriamo in questa fattoria nell'entroterra di Finale Ligure. Cerchiamo persone che amino almeno quanto noi la natura, gli animali e siano entusiaste e motivate nel fare una nuova esperienza insieme a noi.
  Mi sono trasferita in Liguria circa nove anni fa con il desiderio di rinnovare e proseguire l'attività che prima era di mio nonno. Ho studiato Servizio Sociale presso l’Università di Genova ma anche durante gli studi ho sempre passato qui le estati ad aiutare la mia famiglia. Nel corso degli anni mi hanno raggiunto i miei fratelli ed insieme dopo la pandemia abbiamo deciso di iniziare questo nuovo progetto di sostenibilità cercando di autoprodurci tutto quello di cui necessitiamo per essere indipendenti dal punto di vista energetico e alimentare. Abbiamo una piccola fattoria con diversi animali, un orto su più terrazzamenti e da poco un agrumeto. Siamo all'interno di un bosco e quindi i lavori di manutenzione e pulizia sono all'ordine del giorno!
  Per mantenerci abbiamo creato un agricampeggio al suo interno ma non abbiamo bisogno di supporto per l'attività turistica.
  
  Per riassumere, ci piacciono le persone laboriose ed entusiaste che AMANO MOLTO LA NATURA e hanno letto l'intero profilo.
  Lavoreremo al mattino dal lunedì al venerdì, indicativamente dalle 8:30 alle 12:30/13:00 e i fine settimana saranno liberi.
  Di solito facciamo tutto insieme, facciamo colazione, pranzo e cena insieme. Nel caso in cui siate più indipendenti possiamo accordarci. Possiamo venire incontro alle esigenze alimentari per diete vegetariane o gluten free.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  ENGLISH (Italian below):
  
  You can definitely learn Italian with us. William, Francesco and I also speak English and I speak a little bit of Spanish while my parents only speak Italian but gesticulate very well 😊 they will be happy to teach you our language if you'd like!
  We will always be present during the week in shifts and on weekends we can show you some nice places nearby or give you directions on what you would like to do.
  
  I love to bake a lot so if you want we can bake some nice cakes together.
  With my brothers and Bardhyl (one of the guys who lives here) you will have the opportunity to learn a lot about farming and animal care. My brother Francesco has a real passion for equines that he will be happy to share! Bardhyl has a degree in agronomy and chemistry, speaks Italian, Albanian and a little bit of English and has taken our project very much to heart. With him you can learn a lot about the seasonality and quality of our products.
  
  
  ITALIANO:
  
  Potrete sicuramente imparare l’italiano con noi. Io, William e Francesco parliamo anche inglese e io un po’ di spagnolo mentre I miei genitori parlano solamente l’italiano ma gesticolano molto bene 😊 saranno felici di insegnarvi la nostra lingua per chi ha piacere!
  Noi saremo sempre presenti durante la settimana a turni e nei fine settimana potremo farvi vedere qualche posto carino nei dintorni o darvi indicazioni su cosa vorrete fare.
  
  Amo molto cucinare dolci quindi se vorrete potremo preparare insieme qualche bella torta.
  Con I miei fratelli e Bardhyl (uno dei ragazzi che vive qua) avrete l’opportunità di imparare molto sull’agricoltura e sulla cura degli animali. Mio fratello Francesco ha una vera passione per gli equini che sarà felice di condividere! Bardhyl è laureato in agronomia e chimica, parla italiano, albanese e un po’ di inglese e ha preso molto a cuore il nostro progetto. Con lui potrete imparare molto sulla stagionalità e qualità dei nostri prodotti.

  ENGLISH (Italian below):
  
  We are looking for people who can help us with gardening , cultivation, pruning, harvesting fruit and vegetables, feeding the animals and cleaning the stables, collecting and cutting wood, and various other tasks depending on the time of year.
  
  We have several terraces with numerous varieties of vegetables and citrus fruits, many of which are native to Liguria (chinotto, oranges, clementines, citrons, lemons) and then apples, pears, plums, apricots, peaches, olives and all the seasonal vegetables.
  We are currently harvesting fennel, lettuce, cabbage and cauliflower of various types, leeks, broad beans, peas and ribs.
  In April, we will do some pruning and planting of potatoes and various vegetables including peppers, aubergines, different types of tomatoes, courgettes, salads, etc. From March to the end of May, we will continue with some land preparation and sowing.
  Animal-related work and farm maintenance take place throughout the year.
  
  ITALIANO:
  
  Cerchiamo persone che ci possano aiutare nei lavori di giardinaggio, coltivazione, potatura, raccolta di frutta e ortaggi, nutrimento degli animali e pulizia delle stalle, raccogliere e tagliare la legna, varie ed eventuali in base al periodo dell'anno.
  
  Abbiamo diversi terrazzamenti in cui sono presenti numerose varietà di ortaggi e agrumi di cui molte autoctone liguri (chinotto, arance, clementine, cedri, limoni) e poi mele, pere, prugne, albicocche, pesche, ulivi e tutta la verdura di stagione.
  Al momento stiamo raccogliendo finocchi, insalata, cavoli e cavolfiori di diverso tipo, porri, fave, piselli e coste.
  A marzo ed Aprile ci occuperemo di alcune potature e la semina di patate e ortaggi vari tra cui peperoni, melanzane, diversi tipi di pomodori, zucchine, insalate ecc. Da marzo a fine maggio si proseguirà nella preparazione di alcuni terreni e nella semina.
  I lavori legati agli animali e le manutenzioni della fattoria si svolgono durante tutto l’anno.

  The workawayers will sleep in wood bungalows with external toilet and shower, which are very close located to the bungalows. The meals will be served at the restaurant inside the camping site with us.
  If you come with your own van or tent you can also park it in our camp site.
  
  ITALIANO:
  I workawayers dormiranno in bungalows di legno con bagni e docce in un locale esterno ma molto vicino al bungalow. I pasti saranno serviti nella sala del ristorante del campeggio insieme a noi.
  Se preferite venire con il vostro van o la vostra tenda nessun problema.

  ENGLISH (Italian below):
  
  If you love outdoor sports, this will be a plus for you, since we are located below the climbing crags of the Boragni sector, and in the surrounding area you can practice various sports: climbing, mountain biking, trekking, trail running. We are also about 5km from the sea. The nearest seaside resort is Finale Ligure.
  Francesco and I love walking in the mountains and will be happy to come with you in your free time to get to know our area, there are also a couple of bikes available that you can use to get around.
  
  From our home to Finale Ligure there's not public transport but we will pick you up from there in case you don't come with your own transport.
  
  ITALIANO:
  
  Se siete amanti degli sport Outdoor questo sarà per voi un plus poiché ci troviamo sotto le falesie di arrampicata del settore Boragni e qui nei dintorni potrete praticare diversi sport: climbing, MTB, trekking, trail running. Ci troviamo inoltre a circa 5km dal mare. La località balneare più vicina è Finale Ligure.
  Io e Francesco amiamo molto camminare in montagna e saremo felici di accompagnarvi nel tempo libero a conoscere le nostre zone, ci sono anche un paio di bici a disposizione che potrete utilizzare per muovervi.
  
  Da casa nostra a Finale Ligure non ci sono trasporti pubblici ma vi verremo a prendere in caso non siate auto muniti.
