!! We are looking for support in November and December !!
! Important information at the beginning: We are working with a lot of animals (dogs), who are dependent on mandatory helpers. Please read our profile properly and make your inquiries only if you can do a reliably promise on helping us out !
We rescue and adopt stray and adoptable animals that lead a real canine life on the Greek peninsula of Halkidiki. We are animal right activists and that includes improving the general situation of the many strays here. The rescue station in the hills above Nikiti is run by our most faithful soul Samira. She is the founder, director and heart of the station. She is supported by Basti, who takes care of the well-being of the animals tirelessly.
Even if it hurts: We don´t look away when animal cruelty happens. We act and report violations of the Animal Welface Act . We rescue animals in need and take action when they need us. And for that we need you. Only with your help as a member we can accomplish our great common task.
It would be nice if you could bring some time since a learning phase is unavoidable. Contact us if you are interested. We sincerly look forward to seeing you. :)
!! We are looking for helpers who are able to have a minimum stay of 3 weeks, to have enough time to show you all the working steps !!
Helpers with campervans are always welcome! :) We are having space for up to 2 campers (electricity, drinking water, toilet, shower, sitting room, washing machine available).

There are two towns near our shelter with several shopping and dining options. We are having many beautiful beaches and landscapes too.
Help
We are always desperately looking for animal-loving people who would like to help us in Greece for a while. We need help: As a veterinarian, as a helper in building kennel, for cleaning the enclosure or sometimes to fill a washing machine with dirty dog blankets. We need a helping hand for the castrations that are so important, for trips to the airport, for support with animal placement or simply to comfort animals or to encourage colleagues when misery seems overwhelming again.

Accommodation
In our community house is a lounge, a kitchen, a bathroom and two rooms for helpers. Of course, helpers with a camper are always welcome. We like to have breakfast together of cook together in the evening. Feel free to use the washing machine too or ask us for other help at any time.
