My time with Earl has been amazing. Earl has taken me into is home and treated me like part of his family. He has taught me everything there is to know about fishing and gardening. Our daily routine was always diferent and with new things. He took me on the boat multiple times, invited me to play pickelball, and even took me skiing. We had amazing

Pender Harbour is a beautiful community with wonderful people. Thank you Earl for the best experience ever.Left by host for Workawayer (Borja)
Borja was such a great addition to my home. He has such a great personality and was so eager to learn and always asking questions about things. He was such a great help at my place with my garden, orchard , cooking and working on my prawn boat . We also had time to go boating, skiing and he did some hiking . My family loved him and he taught us

Thomas stayed with me for 2 weeks and was so great to be around. Full of energy and eager to learn. He was very interested in life in Canada and different subjects about life here. I can’t believe how quickly he picked up English. Thomas was a great worker we cut and split a lot of wood . We had some good laughs and I think he is now a hockey fan.

I spend 2 weeks with Earl in his amazing place called Madeira Park.
Earl is a very interesting guy with a lot of stories to tell !
He knows everything you want about fishing and he would be happy to show you his paradise on his boat.
During my stay, i searched, chopped and stacked the wood for the next year. Also, we did some smalls works around
… read more the property. I'm just a bit sad we didn't touch the dock because it was what the workaway was mentionning but i did enjoy working the firewood (specifically chopping 😁)
We usually start at 09am but there isn't really an end time. But you never go over 5h work. Sometimes, you'll work 2-3h, sometimes a little bit more... Earl is very cool for the schedule 🙂
You have a e-bike, kayak and some very good hike close to the house. I recommend the Francis Point National Park !!!! It's better if you are a couple or not afraid to be sometimes alone because he is a great player of pickle-ball so he lets you by yourself.
Earl is also very easy-going if you want a day-off for something in particular and can drop you off in town.
His son is living next door so you'll experience a canadian familly life. He takes really care of you and cook some amazing meals. My room was just next to the stove (perfect when it's cold at night).
In resume, i recommend the place and
really enjoyed my time with Earl. We had very good and interesting discussion.
Thank you Earl and see you one day ! 🙂

From the moment I met Earl in March 2024 and volunteered for about one week with him he was kind, courteous and treated me like family. You are part of his family while there and he was very happy to show me around much of his beautiful coastal community. I did a little bit of everything while at Earl's doing basic cooking, yard work, carpentry

We stayed at Earl's for eight days and had an amazing time!
Earl is a great host, he is funny, compassionate and a blast to talk to.
He integrated us in his Family and made us feel welcome and home. Every Evening he cooked amazing dinners with his Seafood.
The tasks where all doable and fair, we helped him with his Seafood deliveries and yard work
… read more around his small orchard.
Earl's House is beautifully situated at the waterfront and the accommodations are comfortable and spacious. We could use his Kayak or the E-Bike to explore Madeira Park and parts of the sunshine coast.
Our Highlights where the Kayak tour through Pender Harbour one of his family members took us on and the Boat ride to Denman and Hornby Island to deliver Seafood! We helped him with his customers and went rod fishing on the Ocean.
We had an amazing time at Earl's and would recommend him to anyone, he is a great host!

I had an amazing time with Earl and his family. They try their best to implement you into their family and make you feel comfortable. There was a great balance between work and freetime which Earl helps to fill by offering rides, the kayak or the E Bike for example. The landscape is very beautiful and the city is filled with kind people. I was
