Hello workawayers,
my wife Kathleen, I, Philippe and our cat minininja are looking for help maintaining our property.
We own a castle and a couple buildings I inheritet 5 years ago.
Both of us are retired. Kathleen gives meditation lessons for free and I do woodwork.
We rent our rooms out to guests, mostly during the summer and people have weddings and other celebrations here.
We also host town events like the "repas communal", the "fête de la musique" and the local christmas market.
Our property has a huge garden and contains the ruins of an old castle that dates back to the 9th century.
We are surrounded by green hills and a small village with only 240 inhabitants. If you like working outside and are interested in exploring the secret parts of the ruin we are the place for you.

Bonjour les workawayers,
ma femme Kathleen et moi ,Philippe, cherche de l’aide pour entretenir notre propriété.
Kathleen donne des leçons de méditation et je fais de la menuiserie. On loue nos chambres aux clients, principalement pendant l’été et parfois on accueille des mariages et d’autres célébrations ici.
De plus on organise des événements locaux.
Notre propriété contient un grand jardin et les ruines d’une ancienne forteresse qui remonte au 9ème siècle.
On est entourés de collines verdoyantes et d’un petit village.
Si tu aimes travailler à l’extérieur et tu es intéressé(e) à explorer les parties secrètes de la ruine, c'est l’endroit pour toi.

Accommodation
You will stay in a warm and cozy room in a gite in an old fortified farmhouse with an own washing machine and dryer plus bathroom.
However, we will share a kitchen until we have renovated the new one in the gite.
