    Description

We are a little family with half of us living abroad. My nephew is studying at the American Film Institute (AFI) and my sister lives in Bali working as a therapist and Yoga teacher. My mother and I are at the summerhouse all summer, and absolutely love it. My mother has retired, but is in great physical and mental shape, and I enjoy doing yoga, staying active and do all sorts of DIY. I am also a singer/songwriter, and love to collaborate in music.

We are fortunate enough to be able to stay at our summerhouse all summer. We would love to share our beautiful space with more people, as it is a summer paradise. We are reaching out to someone who might love this place as much as we do, and who will also lend us a helping hand to keep the place in shape.

We ourselves enjoy the tasks over the summer, but the place is quite large and we would really appreciate the exchange of the experience of this pearl with a little bit of help.

I am a vegetarian/vegan, and the meals will mainly be vegetarian. I would love to show you some of my favourite recipes as well as learn more about vegetarian cooking from you. If you eat fish though, we can go fishing in the fjords and we will show you how to prepare fish like the Norwegians do.

Our place is between Lillesand and Kristiansand, by one of the fjords. We will be sharing time, space, stories, music and yoga. Lillesand and Kristiansand are amongst the most famous Norwegian cities (towns) to visit in the summer. They are both on the waterfront, and there are many cultural activities going on there like music festivals, boat festivals among others. Both places thrive with life in the summertime. A few ours away we start seeing the west coast mountains, and one of the most famous mountain trails in Norway (Trollveggen) is only a 3 hour drive away.

  • Help

    Help

We need help with gardening and everyday tasks, and would love you to be part of our summer hangout - enjoying music, swimming and forrest walks with our dogs. We have some projects we to do every year, keeping the trees from growing tall which means cutting back overgrowth. planting flowers and other small DIY projects here and there. This place is our paradise, and we would love to share the peace and beauty of it with more people.

Ideally for us would be to have a vegetarian/vegan cook to cook our meals, and someone who is handy for all sorts of small/medium size DIY projects.

    What else ...

We have a small boat and on hot days we take it out to the open sea and hang out on one of the islands. Every evening we go for forrest walks, often to a beautiful lake with fresh water for an afternoon cool down. The place is a 20 min drive to both Kristiansand and Lillesand - which both are the epiphany of summer idyll in this part of Norway.
